Replaced an ancient i5 and GTX 560 and runs faster and quieter including in the games my kids play (Roblox and Minecraft).

This cpu is fast, and chews through any consumer or workstation use you throw at it. Especially with a good undervolt/overclock, the 13th and 14th gen intel chips cannot compete with the workhorse aspect of this cpu period. They beat this cpu by margins of error in single core use only. That said, this cpu will deliver any experience you throw at and expect from it. Games like a champ, crunches compute like a champ, and gives a snappy performance. This is perfect for a high end workstation/1440p gaming build. It's very easy to tune in bios, and not very complicated to figure out how to play with it's settings. I'd recommend the 'actually hardcore overclocking' channel on YouTube. He has a full guide on how to tune this chip for best efficiency/operation.

-Can finally run arc raiders at 60-80 frames

Awesome speeds for 65 watts! No need for liquid cooling; wraith cooler is near silent.

Great support from AMD Tech

biggest bang for the buck , almost Equal to the i-7 so if you are not buying the 5 just go ahead and get the I9 just pass up the i7 that passmark screen is with 64 gigs ram DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) and rtx 3060ti on WD Black sn520x m.2 2280 all stock CPU not overclocked but XMP on ram is utilized

Fast...!! staying on the cooler side on a load..

Awesome 👍

Pretty much 7600 level power and output Cost effective Non integrated graphics

Stock clocks are insane for gaming, you can always go further. Smooth 130+ FPS at 1440p in Pubg and BF5 on a RTX2080ti. Ryzen5 was bottlenecking to 100-120fps with stutters and lag. 8 cores allow you to multitask without any slowdowns.

My last Gaming Rid i7-3770 lasted 10 years. Still a good System and my daughter uses it. This things is just blazing fast. The i5 is a beast of a CPU is you upgrade frequently. With the i7, these are 8-12 years worth of service.

The CPU mounted easily, and ran well first time out of the box.
