This case was a pleasure to build. I looked at a lot of cases and for the price this was at the top of my list. The only draw back was the cable management. I had a little trouble getting the cables arranged to be able to close the side door. But it worked. the air flow is so good that the fans on my GPU hardly turn on.

After 9+ years and multiple motherboard builds with my gigantic Antec P280, it was time for a change and to downsize my case for my new build. The Define 7 Compact became my choice of case. I am finally forgoing optical drive built into the case. This case was super easy to wire the motherboard into. I loved that the top panel and case frame are able to be removed in order to get to the power connector and jumpers around the CPU are of the board. I had no issues hiding and wires and routing them on thwack side of the motherboard panel. I was also able to fit the Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler but was only able to have one fan mounted to the heat sync due to clearance issues. This was no problem for me as the heat sync and single fan were plenty effective to cool my z490 Vision D and 10700k Processor. Additionally, I was able to also fit teethe Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ Rx 5700 Xt GPU card all using air cooling.

I purchased this for a case swap on a Lenovo Ideacentre 700-25ISH. As any experienced Builder knows. Case swaps on OEM's are a hit or miss process. The OEM motherboard fit like a glove! The metal mesh style panels pop off with ease for a pleasant build experience. The over all structure of this case is very solid. The ability to use a standard ATX PSU in this case is a major plus considering its size. I currently use this PC on my living room TV (86 LG Nanocell UHD) for movies, and it looks like nothing more than a surround sound bass speaker. Perfect for that home entertainment center flow in any setup.

Unique design is very aesthetic and is very cool! Despite being an interesting design, the building process really isnt any different than it would be for a normal case. The AIO pump cover is objectively awesome and looks very cool. The RGB is a nice touch, while not being too overbearing. The case feels SOLID. Overall dimensions and weight are actually noticeably slimmer and lighter than the Phanteks g500a, closer to the g360 family.

Amazing airflow I had bought a pre built used pc of Facebook and I was having to turn all settings down so much that I would only be running 60-70 fps so that I wasnt seeing crazy high temperatures bought this case and a new AIO and it lit doubled the performance of my pc great airflow out of this case Im now running 130-150 fps no problem cool temps all day long

- can accommodate large GPUs - beautiful mesh front - usb c is the standard now - GPU temps are great - possibility of installing all-in-one CPU liquid cooler, at the cost of some GPU space. - as i am coming from the Mac OS ecosystem, this is a worthy Windows/PC/Linux competitor to Mac cases.

- Built like a tank - Spacious inside - The built-in fans are nice - Cable management for the motherboard is like a dream - Standoffs come pre-installed into the case and there's plenty of screws included

The fan looks great but some work needs to be done with the cable like, connecting extensions to specific ones. Fairly easy though. Since they use almost no power you can daisy chain like 7 or 8 together.

This case was engineered very well. All components fit perfectly and it looks great.
