This is far and away the best cpu for gaming our right now. It's an absolute beast. AMD opened up overclocking for this chip and honestly there isn't much performance to gain there. But where this chip really shines is undervolting. I was able to get a stable -40 all core undervolt using curve optimizer and now this thing sips power in all core workloads and sits at around 55 degrees C with an AIO cooling.

- Linux: Total of 32 processors activated (274665.92 BogoMIPS) !! - Easy to install - runs cool - tctl averages 50c, peaks around 90c under heavy load (with a 240 AIO). - very stable with expo at 6000mhz, and two gen 5 ssd.

Very soft paste that is easily dispensed. Like other premium pastes, this is better than stock. They provide enough for a couple applications depending on how liberal you are on using it. Unlike many other stock pastes, it shouldn't dry out which is a great reason to consider getting some. After a month of typical gaming and encoding use, I inspected the paste and it is still as good as when I originally applied it. So far so good!

One of the most powerful home CPUs available. Unmatched 128 MB L3 cache capacity, that after some setup has the potential to make this one of the fastest CPUs in gaming.

Great budget cpu. I had a Ryzen 5 3600 that quit and was looking a cheap cpu for a budget build and this fit the bill perfectly. I have no complaints, this actually gets a little better fps than the 3600 and was cheaper than most of the used ryzen cpus.

Performance is on par with the Intel I9 processor. Uses half the power of the Intel i9 processor.

Works with Ausu Prime Z890-P full ATX board and Intel Ultra 7 265K processor. Very cheap. Very quiet fan. Very effective in cooling the CPU. Comes with 1 120mm fan, and extra metal clip to install another 120mm fan on the other side of the heat sink, if needed. Very large heat sink.

Great performance and temps. Coming from 10600K this doubled my frame rates at 4K in GTA5 and made Cities Skylines 2 actually playable with 300k+ citizens. Every other game is buttery smooth. 7600mhz XMP running without a hitch. I'm cooling on air with no thermal throttling using a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 and Intel Performance defaults. Adobe Premiere feels like it's running on a commercial workstation. Complex 3D print files slice instantly and 3D modeling loves this new chip

Everything

Expensive but definitely worth it thats for sure runs cool at 40 degrees Celsius and cinebench only hits 69 degrees Celsius due to my cooling in my case have 0 issues so far

Fast and efficient Handles undervolting and low tdp ( max 120v set) like a champ with no issues Benchmark scores across the board were withing 15pts of 14900k under s200 overclock

- Cheap - Meet requirements of pretty much everything

Draws about 210 watts friends Intel next level down 336 watts

9800x3d does internet at 45c games at 60c to 70 c with spikes to 80 if im rendering, AMAZEBALLZ!

This CPU is a monstrous performer compared to the 5000 series. Huge leap in technology and performance and the 670 chipset is also stellar. Installed my 7950 on an ASUS X670E with a gen 5 nVME.The performance is double compared to 5900 on a X570 MB. This CPU idles pretty warm, but under heavy load never exceeds 90C running prime95 or similar benchmarks. All this using an air cooler. AMD has knocked it out of the park again. Easily operates with 6000 speed RAM which can OC to 6400 no problem and FCLK 2100. I recommend the ASUS MB as the BIOS is very stable and mature and has no problem pushing the limits of the 7950 with factory settings. Moved to AMD 10 years ago and never look back. Gamers may prefer the X3D version, but I am getting more than 200FPC in Furmark 2160 (4K) and 500FPS in 1080p. PerformanceTest 11 CPU benchmark 64723 which is off the charts worldwide for this CPU.

- Easy to install once I figured out the instructions - Noise level from the fans/pump isn't overly loud - RGB synced up easily with my other MSI products - Thermals have been good

Exceptional multi-core performance makes it ideal for demanding tasks and workloads.
