Old HDMI splitter died, so ordered this one for 4K box and TV but honestly most of viewing is 1080p. TVs in both rooms work. Instructions say to make connections and then power on. Comes with USB cable but no power supply so had to plug into back of cable box. if no available USB port to use as a voltage source, you will need to buy a charger. Nice firm connections into box for HDMI cables and for USB input. Smaller form factor than old box as well.

my problem was that i have a dual monitor setup, one using hdmi and the other older, so it doesnt use hdmi. my pc only has one hdmi port, and my screen tablet uses hdmi; when i want to use my tablet, i have to unplug my main monitor to swap it with my screen tablet when i want to draw. i found the solution, searched it up and found this. ordered it, plugged everything in and it works perfectly. now i dont have to mess around with cables and now have a triple monitor setup!
