Does exactly what its supposed to do with no complexity or difficulty. Virtually plug and play.

Price, plugin play, works fine!

All 8 ports are POE Have increased speed from older Gigabit units.

Inexpensive, small, and reliable.

+ 802.3af compliant + 4 PoE ports + 8 10/100/1000Mbps ports + Ideal for homes and small businesses - great for the price + Networking monitoring + VLAN + Traffic prioritization + QoS

Pro: Excellent and *consistent* performance, very easy initial setup, all 24 ports are full gig, and this unit comes with rack-mount hardware if you are so inclined

Eggxpert reviewer here. This review has been delayed a bit due to a hectic work schedule, but I finally had time to sit down and test this thing this weekend. So, to start: pros. This thing behaved wonderfully for everything you'd need a switch for. Swapping this thing out for my usual switch made me quite happy, and I would use it regularly if it weren't for the fact that I needed a couple extra ports for regular use. Internet connectivity was solid amongst all the devices I had plugged into it, as well as file transfer and streaming abilities. The wall mounts on it are also a great touch, as that gives the option of hiding it underneath a desk which helps with desk space (not too critical an issue since it's footprint is so small) and cable management (which is key for me).

Simply plug the adapter into the wall, plug it into the switch, turn it on and away it goes. Full speed and works well!

Metal case. Very compact for a 10-port switch - I really like how small it is. I plugged in 10Gbps SFTP and 2.5Gbps devices and tested throughput. It moved 2.36Gbps between two 2.5Gbps ports and 9.39Gbps between two SFTP ports. In comparison, the same test (using iperf3 in Linux) between two SFP ports on my more-expensive Aruba switch gives the same 9.39Gbps. I was pleasantly surprised to see a "VLAN" switch on the front. The product description does not mention this.

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

It's a great replacement for my 10/100 switch.

Provides power Looks Good Feels Solid

Worked, just worked. Bought 2 and put them at 300 foot intervals along a long ethernet run.

Easy to hook up and use. Minimal network training needed.

Easy, deployment, work as described.

Nice switch with vlan support and a gui. Low noise also.
