- Full 2.5gbps speed on all ports! - It does the job without any compromise. I've saturated the 2.5gb ports many times and it performs well.

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

The switch has a very heavy and quality feel to it. POE+ works great with my cameras, and wireless access points.

Item was delivered on time and worked well for us.

Compact Good Quality Good Speed

Runs gigabit speeds, "green" technology only uses 2-3 watts when not in heavy use (measured with kill-a-watt). Had no problems so far. Model I got has no fan and runs cool. Small size, mounted into a closet with ease taking up little space.

Gigabit switch that is easy to connect to a router, worked at first plugin. The design and looks are simple, just a sturdy metal grey-blue box and the sockets are snug. It is mounted on a wall in a closet, so I won’t be looking at it very often. LEDs show the speed and status of each connection. It is helpful to extend the number of connections with its 8 ports. I've only used 6 of the ports, for 4 PCs and 1 Blu ray player. The average ping times to google.com were fine and comparable to the router, 27 ms, and 1-2 ms to another PC on the network. Transfer rates were good and multiple HD recordings being served at the same time with no noticeable slowdowns. Supports QoS function. Good 5 year warranty. The fanless design means no noise. It stays cool and is ‘green’. The power draw while operating determined using a Kill-a-watt is 1.9 to 2.0 W.

All 8 ports are POE Have increased speed from older Gigabit units.

Inexpensive. Metal chassis with mounting holes. Smart switch. Performs well. Build quality is solid. User friendly software with intuitive controls. Pretty robust unit in a small inexpensive package. Windows utility to manage switch, although it has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is the software finds the unit on the network regardless of the IP address. It's also convenient if you have a half dozen of these things around your office that you want to monitor. You can get to all of them through one application.

Plug and Play! An absolute no brainer to setup and use.

-Whisper quite -Many Features -Web GUI or phone app to manage it -You have to know what your doing or at least read the manual.

This is a great switch. The older hardware revision didn't include a web interface. It had to be managed using a Windows client installed somewhere on your network. Version 2 of the hardware supports a newer version of the firmware that does include a web interface. The switch I received still had the older firmware preinstalled, but upgrading is a simple process.

Fast, well constructed, easy to use, just like any other quality switch I have owned (I have at least 6 1G ones in my house). Hopefully the power plug holds up, that's really the only weak point on the 1G switches.
