The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

Everything. A managed network is a happy network.

No setup, just connect all device and ... that`s it!

this was just what was needed to finish our kook up our gaming system

I am a network admin and needed a smaller switch for my home network. So far this one has been amazing. No problems.

Silent and cool with plenty of room for power requirements with my PoE network cameras.

Power it up, connect Ethernet devices, never think about it again. Works like a charm. Excellent warranty (5 years). No external power supply. Mine was destroyed in a lightening strike after 18 months of flawless operation, TP Link replaced it without question.

The addition of the TP-Link absolutely added speed to my SOHO network which is a mix between Ethernet, wireless, IP surveillance cameras and powerline. The smart features solved bottleneck issues. Noise is important to me because of the equipment room location and this is a quiet unit. That was a factor in my purchase decision.

I really like this switch. It has all the great management features you would want, the GUI makes sense, VLANs work as expected, it has POE, and it's got a great slim form factor for wall mounting and getting it out of the way. Comes with the screws necessary to wall mount as well.
