Easy setup good backups Very fast transfer speeds Just as easy on Linux as Windows

The BMC is a little clunky, but very helpful. I can't see myself getting another server that doesn't have it.

2 Year Warranty - Unlimited tech support. Always good to have. Not lifetime, but still not bad. IGMP Snooping - Simple explanation: A great feature that allows the switch to monitor the traffic between your router and other hosts (devices) on your network. The switch will maintain a map of your multicast streams that will allow it to filter them to allow specific ports to receive the multicast traffic intended for it. This is fantastic for bandwidth hungry items such as IPTV. Overall it reduces unnecessary load on the switch allowing it to operate more efficiently. Solid Build Quality - All metal housing. Internal board is securely mounted, as are the RJ45 ports, they do not flex or give. Internal "processor" is cooled by a large heatsink. Wall Mountable - Something I like to see in a switch. Also comes with rubber feet for just leaving it on your desk or wherever. This TP-Link TL-SG105 is a great little desktop switch. I dropped it into my network and saw absolutely no performance loss what so ever, and my home network is often under heavy load, see "Other thoughts" for more details. Online gaming, LAN gaming, game and VOIP servers, HD streaming with tools like Open Broadcaster and XSplit, and HD media such a Netflix and Hulu, none of it was hindered being behind this switch with 4 devices connected and running. It delivers the speeds you expect from a gigabit switch. Overall this is a great switch that I would happily recommend to anyone no matter how intensive, or tame, their home network load may be. It works as I expected it too and did not disappoint.

The plugs are aligned in such a way, that most wall-warts can be used with it, without one crowding out the other. I use this to power my guitar stomp boxes in my home studio. Each stomp-box has their own wall-wart/converter. I am able to run 6 pedals with no crowding, with 2 slots to spare. The Belkin is also built really well, with a long (8'), thick power cord. It is a heavy duty strip. The built-in 2500 joule' surge suppressor is more than adequate for most needs as well, offering good protection for any electronics plugged into the strip. I expect years of trouble-free use.

- Cable is super long - Plug is angled so it won't obstruct other outlets on the wall - Sturdy, stays in place

I buy this NAS for the 2.5 LAN .. I haven't fully tested it yet... but I want to say that the packaging and delivery were EXCELLENT.

Comes with ears, screws to match a standard switch rack. Solid metal case Shielded ports. Reasonable cost

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

For a single PC this will give you enough time to save what ever work you have before losing power. I sustained a single PC under moderate load for 30 minutes before getting eminent shut down alerts. It is currently being used to back up power for a building automation system.

Lots of outlets, a "master" power plug can shut power off to peripherals when the tower is off. Fit and finish seem very good.

It's a great CPU, being AM5 allows for many cooling options, and a TDP of 65W means you can get away with a small cooler.

It has enough outlets for basically anything and the covers for them are handy if you have smaller kids around. I now don't have to worry about my new computer getting killed by a storm!

Small, easy to hide and put out of sight. Metal case is durable. Extremely easy plug and play setup. Supports 1000 Mbps. Energy Efficient.
