Board gives me everything I needed and then some. It is on the expensive side, but the power and easy connections made it great to assemble in. I originally was going to get the Crosshair Extreme, which is it's big brother, then decided against it. I picked up this MB, the Ram, and a AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D, as a Newegg combo (gave the 9850X3D to my dad as a birthday present), which was pricey. The NVMe thing. My lord it's a godsend, I have 2 4TB Gen4 SSDs in here, and I don't lose any speed on either of them. I don't use the USB 4 slots, so I was happy to give those up.

I havent upgraded for awhile, and this board has everything I could want. Plenty of USBs and 10Gbe built in. I paired it with a 9950x and compatible memory with tight timings and everything booted the 1st time. I updated the Bios to the latest and couldnt be happier.

I've had really good luck with MSI boards, I've tried others but the easy bios and software for it always seems to be easier than others. They were one of the few boards that had the USB Gen2 Type C connector on the board which honestly sold me as my case has one for front panels

There has information about this motherboard pros and cons but for me in a real live person who ordered ASUS WS z390 Pro 1151 LGA and I build that desktop PC with i9 9900K intel cpu and Noctca D-15 two tower and G.
