Load times, capacity for the price, warranty

- Reputable Brand - Reasonable Price - Not advertised for gaming, but ran several games without excessive load times, etc.

Works perfectly, brand new, fast shipping.

I love this thing for backups of my laptop. Coming up on 6 months and there hasn't been any hick-ups. Doesn't even get warm. Fast for a rotational drive. Seems very well built to me. A single USB cable supplies all the power. Know I'll get a couple more.

Functions as intended, 500GB reliable hard disk drive

I'm not sure whether this "NASware" thing is marketing fluff or the real deal. But in any case, this drive made a fine upgrade for the hard disk in my ThinkPad X200s. It's quiet, runs cool, and best of all, has five times the capacity of the original disk that came with this machine. I have not run any speed tests, but it seemed snappy enough doing a build of a huge software package (this is on Linux).

Used in a RAID 10 for SQL and these things are really fast and work great

As described, nice packaging

Works great!

Everything you come to expect from WD... Low failure rates and good prices.

Excellent sequential read OR write performance, 100MB/second. Excellent for video editing. Small enough to fit in laptops including many CD-ROM bay caddies to allow for dual-1TB drive RAID setups. 16MB cache on a 1TB drive helps greatly with random read/write performance.

- Performs about 2x as fast as a regular HDD, in my experience - Good amount of storage for the price and performance - Good for PS4, Laptops, and Desktop builds
