Good Looking Motherboard

M.2 slot lga 1700 everything is great even has a c port slot which is nice idk what I would use it for

Don't need update BIOS if your install a 14th gen processor

I got a mother board that possibly had bad pins on it. It was taken care of with a new one sent right out and now is running well!

- Very easy to install everything from components to a large air cooler - No bending at all with a Noctua NH-D15S - Everything booted up on the first try (265K w/ 64GB G Skill Royal Ram) - Clean, easy to use BIOS

If you want the latest and greatest, but dont want to spend more than $600 on a motherboard (Asus) this is the one MSI Z790 EDGE. Excellent quality and beautiful sleek designed if you plan to do a white on black build. I love that it has multiple USB 3.2 and USB type C Waiting on NVIDIA to release a GPU with PCI 5.0, but the motherboard is already set for next gen graphics card. Plenty of m.2 slots Mystic Light on the dragon logo Windows 11 ready and intel 13th gen DDR5

Somehow I bent the pins under the CPU of the 1st MB, don't know how I did that, after getting it back from from ASUS repair center, which it really didn't need because all they did is test startup 50 times & when I got it back the issue was resolved - so just a big waste of time I can't blame on any body else. So that's off my chest, the 2nd Z890-A is working perfectly. No complaints at all. It has plenty of USB's. Room for 2 HDD's, 4 2.5" SSD's & 5 M.2 SSD's. You don't need to be a gamer to get this MB, it will handle whatever you throw at it. I still haven't played with the Audio capabilities it has, or finished moving all my files over to the new PC. It's been a busy Summer. One hack I accidently discovered: I went with an Intel 265KF (no internal graphics), but was planning on getting a GPU any way. Do that and you can save a few bucks on the CPU.

The motherboard works great and POSTED right away. The WiFi speed is actually incredbile - WiFi 6 is a huge upgrade. On 1.5 Gbps Rogers service, I'm getting over 550 Mbps, which is fantastic. Updated the BIOS right away.

* Two M.2 full speed Gen4x4 *Wi-Fi built in *Front USB-C connector (rare at this price) *Good color for a white build like mine. *4 RAM slots *Q-flash BIOS update capable

Fast wifi Very pretty Lots of connectors

New feature to flash BIOS with no memory was a life saver.

Just finished this build, and I was amazed how everything worked so well at 1st power up. I want to give a shout out to Jayz2cents for his, What to do after the build video. One thing I learned is updating the bios, I did not have to have a 32gb or less USB with fat32 formatting, the new ones can handle exfat, I used a 128gb USB and also downloaded the latest Bios update from the Asus Page, with my 10yr old, and first build, Win10 Desktop, then installed on my new Win11 build, which did not have Windows Op system installed yet. I checked with Asus first because I read several reviews that claimed they had problems with 14Gen CPU's. They had me check my mobo last 4 digits on barcode, I believe, were which bios it had onboard from factory, which were 1658 on mine. Asus said, that would handle 14th Gen, the newest as of right now is 1820. Any way Thanks to Asus and Jayz2cents, power up had no hiccups.

Literally top of the line in everything I was looking for. PCIE 5, so you can pair it with the Samsung 9100. Latest intel processor (Which is also super fast). Wifi is also fast. The price was great for top of the line. I am super happy with it. The BIOS system is very intuitive/easy to use. And it looks great.

Many M.2 slots Aesthetically pleasing Accessible PCI-e removal Copious heatsinks

Amazing design It's sonic

-As of October 2024 purchase, it came with BIOS version 3/26/2024. It recognized the Core i3 14100 processor without any issue. Didn't need to put a 12th gen Core processor in to do any BIOS update. -From the above bulletpoint, my box had a "Next Gen CPU Ready" sticker on it probably to indicate it has the updated BIOS version to support 13th and 14th gen Core processors. -Compact size and has Wi-Fi card already included. -High quality -2x ARGB 5v headers for your LED lights -Integrated video output if you don't want to add a dedicated video card. (VGA, Displayport, and HDMI)

Great price, good board.

All the sata plugs are in the same spot, making wire management really easy with older boards that was usually when things started to get hectic. Worth it for that alone.

Clean look and easy BIOS Keeps my 265k boosted as high as other more expensive boards
