Great drive if you backup on DVD. It reads all DVD variations. One thing I noticed is it isn't "lightscribe" ready. The box doesn't show "lightscribe" compatability. So you have to use a "sharpie." "Lite-on" has always been a great drive company. You can always use "Lite-on" with any OS.

Very slim and light weight. Works in Windows 10 without adding any drivers. Responsive eject. Disk seek time is fast; found disk data in just seconds. Burns reliable DVDs (using TDK 16X DVD-R disks) and CD's, no lost data after several burns. Very quiet. Had to look at drive to see if it was working! This uses M-DISC burning technology and they included 2 blank Vertbatim M-Disk DVDs. I . There is some additional software that I haven't installed yet.
