Reads 4K UHD, Blu-Ray, and DVDs
its a dvd drive nothing fancy
This drive worked well out of the box, setup and software installation was a snap. It is great. It burns 50 Gb discs without a hiccup. Follow up: No problems after using awhile. Performance is still solid and I have not experienced any problems with this drive. I do wish it supported UHD4K playback.
plug and play works great defanatluy a upgrade with the new dvd'less computers. growing up with dvd's and cd's having to download all your favorites was getting annoying now a big hard drive, and a huge collection . I defiantly recommend Intendvision dvd player
Allowed me to install Windows 7, my case has no optical drive.
It works, looks good.
Some Pros: - Works great with laptop 12.7mm DVD drives! - Slick design! - Easy plug and play! No drivers/add-ons needed! - Good price!
Excellent piece of equipment the manufactures decided t omit!!!!!!!!!!
Makmkv said that the one I received was "LibreDrive enabled." It does have the actual "Ultra HD Blu-ray" logo on it. It hasn't had any problems with 4k or Blu-ray disks (I haven't tested DVDs). It gets 5.5x on average for Blu-rays.
Plug and Play makes it easy to use.
Decent price. USB 3.0
Works great. Plug and play for Mac OS X and Windows. Im not quite sure what the driver disc is for, maybe extra software for burning CDs and DVDs though. It's very small, thin, and quiet. Very light and portable.
iTunes making you miserable? Try this Player and Writer! Windows mesh with this BDR-XS07UHD seamlessly, its just fantastic how well it works--i am thoroughly impressed as to the software that is supplied... It writes deliberately smooth and plays even as good!!! My "rig" as follows: i9 7980xe, G.Skill Trident Z 32gb (4x8) 3000mhz, Alienware AW3419DW x2, EVGA X299 Dark, EVGA P2 1600watt, WDC SSDs x2 SN720 NVME and so on... Oh, ive Creative Amp X7 wired to 2 drivers by Polk Audio and getting Sub soon? Can i go wrong YES but didn't it is flawless.
This was plug and play/use just as indicated in the description. No software needed. OS just recognized the CD/DVD drive.
