Its a lot tighter , making suggestions to offsets cab lines etc. you can do this with the xtu app. Once completed take a screen shot and set it in your bios, done. Very nice. Other pros is its fast , still depends on what you plan to do. If you want to just game, I would consider the 7950x3D or other variants from AMD. But I tend to multitask while gaming , so I really enjoy this chip. It is a lot hotter than my previous 12900k. My previous 12900k was overclocked ran hot, but still not as hot as the 14900kf.

IN COMPARING THE INTEL I CORE 5 14600K WITH AMD'S COMPARABLE VALUED CPU, INTEL BLOWS THEM AWAY. NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE BETTER BUT THE PERFORMANCE IS WAY BETTER. 189 DOLLARS YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS. I'VE PURCHASED A FEW OF THESE FOR MY NUMEROUS BUILDS OVER THE COURSE OF A FEW MONTHS FOR GAMING. I KNOW THAT THE AM5 ........X3D PROCESSORS HAVE THAT L2 CACHE BUT FOR THE PRICE IM PAYING FOR THE INTEL PROCESSOR IM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS

Much faster than my last CPU the 2700x from years ago. Improved my frame rate pretty substantially going from 70fps in STALKER2 to 150. The price was good - 135.00$ is a small price for the gains.

works well on a asus rog b760f with the supplied orbital fan. AI3 software runs in low power mode and turbos with game applications and stays under 78c average with a top down blower fan

System's motherboard BIOS was updated to the 2024 release. There was a different processor in the MB (A520M PRO) at the time. Ryzen 3 was installed and no issues with start-up. Although, it booted a few times to make adjustments. As a general desktop, the system flies. It is being used to write this review.

I needed to flash the UEFI bios, but that was easy upgrade on the Desktop Mobo: ASRock model: B450M Pro4. After Flash upgrade the Ryzen 5 5600GT CPU booted directly into the Antix Linux desktop. The speed difference was astonishing. Performance in a web page loading on the screen improved, The difference of 4 vrs 6 core has made a major jump with the installation of the Ryzen 5 5600GT .
