Overclocks well but beware, some am5 procs have a heat issue. AMD is limiting this issue through bios AGESA parameters - including xmp and expo ram profiles. Luckily I have not had any problems with the 7600x or the 7900x3d installed on my b650 pg lightning MB. I use ddr5 pc6000 overclocked to 6200. The 7600x was overclocked via ryzen master to a peak of 5.2 Ghz (all cores) without reaching Tj max. The 7900x3d cannot be overclocked via ryzen master. Its temperatures do run a little lower with its peak clock reaching 5.6 Ghz. The MB handles these two processors faultlessly with the appropriate bios.

Has everything I needed like extra m.2 slots and multiple usb connections

36°C on full load, this motherboard works very cool. Easy to install fans, multiple Argb connection available. Asus did well on this B850 mobo, everything works pretty well. Worked out of the box with my Ryzen 5 9600X.

- BIOS is easy to navigate. - I/O layout is pretty nice. - BIOS flashback ( A must need if you're getting 5000 series! ) - Heatsinks are pretty good, do the job. - Good amount of fan headers. - Great manual, however, it isn't on paper. - Layout is intuitive and easy to understand. ( Except for the CMOS ) - Worked with my 5600x out of the box. ( Guess I got lucky. Don't expect this. ) - Black PCB looks great. - Handles memory overclocking without any issues ( XMPing my 3600 cl16 kit to 4000 cl18, might go further soon ) - WiFi works impressively well, specially considering the price this board has. - Absolute breeze to build with, no issues at all.

Ideal form factor if you plan it out. Has 8 SATA ports 16x Bifurcation on PCIe slot 1. I haven't set this up yet, but I intend to in the future
