The rack comes with the shelf, the fan, and the PDU (Power Delivery Unit) pictured, which is great. The 12U size gives me more than enough room with what I needed to put in there, and gives room for later additions. Item came with a broken foot, but I immediately reached out to their support team. They apologized and quickly sent out a replacement item. I received that item within less than a week (they are in Canada, I'm in the US.)

Seems more durable than I expected and was easy to assemble. Great price for something that seems really solid. Casters are more heavy duty than I expected as well (and work mostly fine on my thick carpet, which isn't easy). I also liked the number markers that make it easy to adjust the rack to a specific depth without needing a tape measure.

Great little shelf for the money.

Sturdy deep shelf. Can put a larger laptop on one. No upward lip on front or back of top. Nice price.

Perfect for the small desktop router or switch that needs a home in a rack.

Sturdy and inexpensive

The shelf is very sturdy and fit perfectly in my server rack. The screws that came with it for mounting are large and have a tapered metal washer/sleeve and a nylon washer. It just looks tough sitting on the rack. The design allows you to have a lipped front/back if you want, or you can mount it the other way to have it flush.

This rack is made of very heavy gauge steel. It is very rugged and very easy to assemble. It may help to have a second set of hands to put it together. I love that StarTech included some cable management hooks! Very helpful! The price is excellent. Would buy a second rack if needed. I looked at other open frame racks and StarTech's was the only one that came with everything I needed and then some. Plus it is a full size 42u rack.
