Slim design, nice outlet spacing, available with multiple cord lengths up to 12 feet, Closing outlets. They work

- Works as advertised, supports my mid-range PC with dual monitor setup long enough to save, close my work & shutdown when outages/fluctuations occur - power supplied to my devices plugged in remains consistent & entirely uninterrupted - Has lived through over a dozen power flickers & full on outages in my small town which is notorious for frying household appliances with our terrible power company (in southern Ontario, Canada) - Alarm when wall power is lost and UPS has kicked on can be turned off/on - Alarm, when on, is not excessively loud - the word alarm makes you think it will be screaming at you but it's comparable to a microwave button beep, probably a little bit quieter - When alarm is turned off, it still makes a very audible click when kicking on due to external power being cut off, so unless you have closed headphones or are blasting music you'll probably know the power went out if you didn't have any other indicator (like you had your lights off in your room mid-day or something) and can begin shutting your stuff off

- Great packaging, fast delivery.

Work great, fit great!

Yet another great piece of networking equipment I've bought from Netgear.

I bought this really just to create some shared storage on our home network. It does a great job; so easy to set up and use...almost fool-proof. The OS is simple, and you can run all sorts of apps on it. I installed 4 drives and was up and running in about an hour. After playing around with it, I found this little NAS could do so much more than just share disk space! The built-in app store is full of neat apps, and easy to install. I installed Plex server on and was surprised how well it did with streaming my media content. It worked great except when it came to live video encoding. So, I decided I needed a little more power, and I traded up and bought the next higher end version Asustor sells. It was easy to swap my drives from this box to the new one. I didn't lose anything, and the new box was almost instantly running since it got the configuration on the swapped drives. Newegg handled the return flawlessly and I'm really happy with the purchase.

I'm not going to write a pros/cons, just the facts in this category. This is a VERY bare-bones 4U case. There are no reward points here for style. There are no removable/hot-swap trays, there is an old commitment to 5.25" bays you can convert with an IcyDock or similar; the tray layout does not provide for any of the newer methods for routing or cable management, and the spacing is such that you are not going to put any deep mount device in here. While there are numerous 3.5" bays, you really will want to use less than 1/2 of them for both heat and performance concerns. The case, however, is one of the cheaper 4U cases, and if you are looking for a baseline for a simple purpose, like a virtualization header, a Windows server, a firewall or similar, this case is certainly a decent choice. I have had no problems using this as a case for my firewall and VPN software layouts, as well as Windows servers in the past, due to pass-through problems of specific USB security keys that did not like VMWare or XCP's pass-through I was forced to keep on their own.

Very well designed.

We have a tankless water heater which is gas driven but has electronic components thus will not work when the power is out. I needed something that would keep the tankless water heater working. Have not had to use it for real but did a test and was able to run a hot shower for 30 minutes and still only used 2/5 of the battery capacity. This unit is reasonably priced for what I needed. I like that I can replace the battery when needed in a few years without having to purchase an entire unit.

Best value in the $100 to $300 price range. Set Up Time: As fast as you can plug it in Newegg Beat all other competitor's online prices Runs quietly Normal expected heat generation Has 2 USB Charge Ports: (1 USB-A 2.4A, 1 USB-C 15W) ( A lot of competitor's have 0 in this price range or use older tech) Has 12 Outlets while some competitor's only have 10

Plug it in. Walk away. Forget it exists.

- Well made - Nice little heatsink on the chip. - Fast ... really fast !
