Great VoltAmps and Wattage levels for a unit in this price range. True sine wave output, fully compatible with Active-PFC PSUs, no worries about damaging expensive power supplies or other PC components. Easy-to-read LCD display cycles through all pertinent information displays. Front-panel controls are clearly labeled and easy to decipher, even for power novices. Unit is very easy to install, should take even a beginner 45 minutes or less. PC utility is easy to install and configure, provides decent options for cutover and shutdown. Also protects coax and Ethernet connections. Both the battery-protected and surge protected zones have room for "wall wart" power supplies. Separate USB outlets for charging are a nice addition. Dedicated circuit breaker reset. AC wiring fault LED indicator to warn of building wiring issues. Coax, USB A to B and RJ-11 cables included. Win7/Win8 gadget for the PC desktop displays vital data at-a-glance.

Low power draw (300w max) along with 2 space width makes this an easy card to double up in a chassis for use with larger models.

Decent price for the hardware, sleek design, upgradable RAM, software updates are frequent, drive bays are solid, can control fan speed for the CPU

- Well built, much more rigid construction than i was expecting. - Easy to work in, lots of space to get your hands in there - If you don't want to use the internal fans (which use Molex) and switch to PWM, super easy to grab any 120s and drop them in the front, same with the 80s in the back. - Lots of room for cable management

As of DSM 7.3 you can now use any name brand drive again. I tested with my old 4 TB Seagate Red drives and no issues.

quite surprised with the performance, works really nice, i regret not getting a NAS sooner

-Seems to last. -I can run my computer (with my Yeti and monitor) off of it for about 30 minutes, in the event of a blackout. More than I imagined, I just wanted something to last 5 minutes so that I can safely shut my computer down. -Easy to understand what everything means after reading the manual, such as if its green, blinking yellow, and other stuff.

I'm a real novice when it comes to any type of networking but I found the machine setup simple enough for even me to understand. Over all, I'm pleased with the software and I'm able to do what I wanted to do on my local network..

Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!
