Worked without having to update the bios on my ryzen 7 5700x Bluetooth is a big plus for me and why I went with this model

Went from MSI Z690 Pro to this MSI B850 and windows loaded right up. Did not have to do a clean install. I had the Windows USB boot drive installed and instead of asking me for a clean installed, it somehow downloaded what was needed and booted. Remember to have the internet connect through cable. Only problem I had was with Windows recognizing my key but Windows support helped me getting Windows acivated. All good now

First, let me say how heavy this board is. Seriously, it feels as if they used the military components that tuf claims they use. It has a super premium feel. The amount of I/O is extraordinary. Total of 12 usb ports including 5 -usb 3.2 gen 1, 2 -usb 3.2 gen 2, and a usb-c. The audio is top notch with premium capacitors. I also love the new easy magnetic port for the new wifi antenna. Just one less hassle during your build. Speaking of the build, everything was very easy to install and setup and it all just worked. Very hard to find any negatives.

The board itself is a very nice board. The memory that came with it was very nice memory too. The two together work.

Photos don't do it justice if you are doing a white build it's the one you want. Build went great, m.2 install mechanism is convenient and solid, great heat sinks, and the power delivery is well-reviewed and acknowledged to be top quality. Love the bios. Everything is just where you hope it will be and good help text for options.

Pros: Easy installation from everything from the casing to the components inside. Ample room for several M2 drives and RAM. Nothing is confusing or ambiguous in the install. Great support site. Great updates on vital firmware. Very easy on the processor (if you have a pump that shows the temp).

3 PCIE 4 NMVE slots Strong voltage regulation ROG STRIX brand, their other chipset MB sells for $500 - their engineers put only what is needed to get the lower price point. BIOS flash without having to power on MB before first boot when building.

No complaints with these models. The price is reasonable and have plenty of options from upgrades and plug ins.

I may not ever use it but the Bios flash/update features are nice. PCI-E 4.0 and RGB headers. Nice dashboard thing when you boot into the BIOS in basic mode.
