Two weeks after end of warranty my laptop gave me the BSOD look. The Big Box concierge service recommended Newegg for the purchase of new memory as the one of the memory bars died. I looked up the required memory with Newegg Memory finder (made it real easy). I've never opened a laptop before, so I looked around and found easy enough instructions to give me the confidence to try. It worked!!! Very very happy with my purchase!

System: MSI Crosshair 16 A13V I bought this G.SKILL Ripjaws 32GB kit to give my laptop a little more breathing room, and Im very happy with it. Installation was ridiculously easy. Open the laptop, remove the old RAM, pop in the new sticks, close everything back up, and turn it on. Thats it. No drama. No troubleshooting. No sacrificing a perfectly good keyboard to the computer overlord. The laptop recognized all 32GB immediately, and everything has been running great. I can have a ridiculous number of browser tabs open, run multiple applications, and generally abuse the poor thing without constantly watching the memory usage like a nervous parent. The DDR5-5600 speed is exactly what I was looking for, and I haven't had any stability issues. The system has been running smoothly since the upgrade. Honestly, this is one of those upgrades where you install it and think, Wait... that's it? Yep. That's it. It works, and my laptop now has enough RAM to question some of my life choices. If you're looking for a straightforward 32GB DDR5 upgrade for a compatible laptop, I definitely recommend this kit. My computer was sooo slow with only 8 gb RAM. I had to try to upgrade rather then getting a new one. I purchased this RAM - (2) 16gb sticks. They worked flawlessly. PC booted quick and recognized the new RAM! Very happy customer here.
