The connections are solid, and almost forced. When you plug the mic boom in, you need two hands to fit it all the way into the female end. It feels reliable, and up to the test of time. I love this headset and use it daily. The cups form a solid seal around my head and the audio experience is titillating to say the least. I often find myself waiting to re-spawn because I died closing my eyes and feeling the music surround my head. I would recommend this to anyone!
