24 cores at this price in unreal. The other guys give you 6 and 8 cores for this price lol. Boots fast, and breezes through everything I throw at it without a hitch. Gaming and multi tasking are a dream. CPU runs very cool despite being a multicore beast. Compatible with my older AIO, no need for any adapters, just worked. New Intel APO and IBT features are cool, but hope they support them long term. Overclocks really, really well. I am running at E cores at 5.1Ghz, P cores at 5.6Ghz and D2D at 4.0Ghz, Cache at 4.1GHz, and NGU at 3.4Ghz. These are well above stock, and it has zero issues. Tuned my DRAM to 8667 CL38 and get huge bandwidth and low latency now.

No problem keeping the thermals in range with a quiet Noctua cooler.

DARE TO COMPARE . With its price and performance. I bought this together with the sapphire nitro+ Rx 7900 XTX. And sheesh the performance is really really superb. Playing ultimate settings in delta force with 250fps on a 1440p monitor.

-8 cores 16 threads -cool running with the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 argb -Asrock B550M Pro SE has no issues with it.

Luckily I like spending time tweaking my CPU. My benchmark scores and framerates really did not go up until I dialed in a good Core Offset, tuned the memory beyond EXPO's auto settings, turned off Core Isolation in Windows, downloaded Win 11 update KB5041587. I have not tried Win11 24H2 yet, and I am not running this with any version of Linux. Compared to my 7950x, I have way more throw with the Core offset. I can dial in a Core Offset beyond -25 with the 9950x, whereas my 7950x gets fussy when I try a CO beyond -5. The 9950x also doesn't run as hot.

I installed to be able to upgrade to windows 11. I am using this on my home computer. This processor is much faster than my old one.
