In Computer Case

I have built many machines and I have to say that the cube boxes make cable management ez and I just love the dual compartments. The box has a space for The motherboard and its components and another space for Drives. This makes life simple.

I mostly got this case because it is moderately sized, but can still hold an EEB (E-ATX) motherboard. Additional benefits are that it is inexpensive, but well built despite that. One thing I didn't anticipate is that as a beginner, the simplicity of this case made it very easy as a first experience. I had to get an adapter for the front panel plug because of the motherboard I used (Gigabyte MD71-HB0), but that was a ~$10 purchase from the "River in South America" company (they won't let me use the company name 🤣. Everything else was in the box (or came with the PSU).

By far the best 8 bay NAS case. I paired mine with an intel N100 nas motherboard and 8 10tb seagate drives and it runs great. The case has plenty of cooling, the two provided fans are not loud but keep the drives cool. Back plane is easy to access from the front. Rubber drive handle and plugs are not great, but get the job done and keep the drives quiet. Good looking unit with drive lights and nice white power button.

The best aspect of this case is that it holds 8 hard disks, 2 SSDs, and one DVD-Blu-ray burner, and, with the help of an extra fan, it keeps them cool even in the summer. Protecting all the hard disks from damage and keeping them cool were the two critical characteristics I had to have. In selecting Phanteks computer cases, I did the work: I made a spreadsheet listing the features of every computer case Newegg sells. This was worthwhile because there were case features I never thought of. Then I sorted the features by their importance to me. The Phanteks cases were the only ones that had all the features I liked at a price I could afford. Two other characteristics of Phanteks case are important. The fit and finish of these cases is perfect; there no imperfections, annoying or otherwise. Second, the screws, slot covers, and spare parts come in a separate box, which is sturdy enough to last for years. Not only are there enough screws etc. to put the case together and hold the motherboard, hard disks, video cards and other adapters securely, there are extras of almost everything in case of the inevitable loss.

Their choice to opt of of a connector and rely on a sata powered connector is amazing and makes cable management a breeze. L connect is an easy to use software.

Very easy to setup and they look great . Once theyre in you download lian li connect and you can customize the speed and rgb . They all daisy chain and connect to each other I would recommend these to anyone they make my pc look high tech !
