For just a little more money than an APC (or quite more for other brands), you can get this Cyber Power with Pure Sine Wave (so you can daisy chain smaller UPSes after it) that also has a port for an SNMP card, so you can shutdown other computers and servers on your network when the power goes out.

Operated exactly as advertised. This review unit arrived with excellent timing. The day after I installed it the power here went out for over an hour with several outages the following week! Not only did the BU 600 keep my cable modem, gigabit switch and a high end router running without missing a beat, I was even able to keep my phone charging. Estimated run time with the new battery and minimalist load was 3 hours+. Of course age reduces the battery capacity, but if you use this product in your server room, it will keep your web connections and routers running like nothing happened for at least 60+ minutes Management software is a free download. The unit was detected on my win7/64 laptop USB and windows drivers installed, and then I installed the APC software. No eyebrow raisers there. Wall mounting holes a nice touch. USB charge port @ 1.5amps shows engineers are listening to customers. I'm seeing this all over the business lately. I just bought a nice desk lamp that has a USB charge port on it.

Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.

Downloadable software for enhanced experience. 3 year warranty (excluding battery) Minimal footprint High capacity for residential use cases. User replaceable battery Easy to understand front panel controls Plug and play & Advanced setups Easy to understand labeling on back of unit

My+ old one died same modlue have had good service

My unit arrived packed within another box and was pacled well in its retail box as I had no unit damaged as some others have said. Plugged in components and plugged in unit to wall and everything worked well. Unit seems to do what it supposed as expected. Unit went from wall power to battery nice and fast and keep my system up and running as designed. Lcd display is nice as well as software functions. Setting can be changed via the software or by the unit itself.

Set up easy, works as expected.

Software is nice, you can daisy chain it from the main server with usb/serial to all of the computers through lan to all shut down together. Also a nice testing feature on the browser page to test the unit and make sure it does work in a real world test situation.

Able to run my gaming computer at max potential with my monitor for 3 minutes or more, enough to withstand a electric blink.

Easy setup Clean looking Easy management

Nice light, matched the one on my laptop, my monitor, my speakers, and my desktop. Give me an idea of how much power my computer is really using, been using this thing for about 3 month now, and i have 2 computers connected to this thing and its very stable Already saved my computer from 3 short power outages and 1 low voltage. Glad i got it. lol

- This protects my RTX 3090 machine quite well - I've used APC products almost exclusively in IT for nearly 2 decades and never had any significant performance issues with them - This is the first time I've purchased a Sine Wave product, but the reviews and the science behind it convinced me to spend the extra 10-20% over a "regular" backup unit

Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!

Can handle demanding load Easy setup Good customer support Easy tracking of power usage

This UPS was a great solution to support networking equipment (modem, router, switch) that I installed in my basement. It has lots of outlets and the size of the unit was perfect for mounting on the network wall panel.

- Great price for the battery capacity. - Nice spacing of the plugs - has a place for 4 large "box" plugs, 2 for the battery, 2 for surge protection. - Useful display that gives you information about the battery status, but quickly turns off the display so it's one less glowing item in your setup. - Alarm can be silenced!!! A must for me. I know when my power is out, thanks.

quick shipment, item is as described. Seller trying to do good, so give the seller a chance to correct if they make a mistake.

-Huge battery reserves for extra long run time when the power goes out -Can mount horizontally (in a rack) or stand up vertically on the floor

Lots of outlets, a "master" power plug can shut power off to peripherals when the tower is off. Fit and finish seem very good.
