Ok, to get this out of the way--ONE button does everything. Not the most convenient thing for consumers to do but simplifies things for the maker of the product except when people call them and go "blah blah, how do I do this or dat?" The instructions come with it on how to set settings though. Voltage trip range could be set to sensitive, normal, or high. I left it on normal, which is preset, and it tripped once within a week--I heard a click from the unit, which means it activated. Also, audio alarm could be disabled (or couple other options as to when it would activate), all of which also is set by one button.. meh. You have to hold button for so long, blah, do so long of a press blah, blah blah... meh. Green power LED is very nice looking but too bright for bedrooms, so I had to put a sticky note paper over it and paint that area with a black permanent marker (in reverse order) to keep that light from shining brightly in the room. Overall: it is a very nice polished looking product for a reasonable price.

Just a great product. I was debating between this and the Tripplite. I am very happy I went with APC. The product is very well made and the cloud as well as local interface to the unit is excellent. I was worried before delivery about given its short chassis how it would handle in the rack using only the front rails and the came up with a really nice brace for under the unit that fits securely and easily handles the weight of the unit. It is also dead silent which for me is a must as it is within my office and quiet matters.

Great UPS for rating under or at 2400 watts the max for a 20 amp circuit.

- can shutdown my computer after some time on battery. - Can power my 300W system for ~1H - silent operation - web GUI to monitor the system - installed agent popup a warning when power is lost. - warranty is for 3 years

This solved a dirty power issue for an industrial control panel I service frequently.

This UPS replaced an APC Smart UPS 750 RM 2U - also a rackmount unit. The SRT1000RMXLA adds a super-functional display, power-conditioning capabilities in addition to larger battery capacity/improved runtime.

Does what it says it does Arrived in good conditions

I live in a rural area where there are quite a few (sometimes several a day) momentary power outages. Most of these are less than 1 second...the type that produce power spikes. APC UPSs have been protecting my desktop computers for 19 years now. This will be my third APC UPS. I tried some less expensive brands and found that they only lasted a few months. These APC UPSs do what they are designed to do, give you time to save your work and shut dow the computer properly, as well as protect the computer from power spikes and surges and brown-outs.

Does its job, worry free.

We have several of these. They keep our home office working during the brownouts and short blackouts we have. The new version of the software seems to work better than older versions. (CyberPower PowerPanel Plus has different options for shutdown and may work better.)

The SMC1000C model (600w) may be sufficient for most gaming PC's. Mine is overclocked and uses more power than most so I opted for the SMC1500C (900w) model.

Easy to set up as usual, having to flip the battery around; albeit heavier than previous UPS I've used. Much nicer looking overall than other APC UPS I've owned. My previous unit died when I moved some months ago, so I had to upgrade anyway. Completely silent, as it is in my bedroom.
