Works fast, cost was great, very light

I already have HP ZBook Fury 17.3 inch G8 Mobile Workstation PC that's a desktop replacement but to heavy for travel sometimes and for working on my car. My company provides us with a HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC and I figured it would fit the bill for my own second smaller laptop. NewEgg's 3-day shipping was early in fact. I could have gotten the device on the second day but UPS wasn't having it. Upon arrival and close inspection I couldn't find a single issue with my new Laptop. No damage to the LCD screen or the case. All the keys work, I mean it looks brand new. The original Factory warranty is still good till early 2025. I may add a Care Pack to extend the one year warranty provided by the seller. I didn't have any issues setting up the device and didn't have to create a Microsoft Account which I was dreading. The Windows 11 version that came installed was 21H2 which was released in 10/4/2021. I did apply some updates but haven't tried updating the device to the latest revision. The device is activated though and no complaints from MS yet because I only have a local account. I am very happy with the purchase since I was able to get a good deal on a not too older Laptop, The EliteBook's are up to G10 now.

As of 5 days Pro's are it came a day early, packaged well, the HP 850 Elitebook G6 refurb grade A was pretty clean (was worried I would get sent a G5) looked like limited use, only few light scratches on bottom of case. Everywhere else looked great except the center of keyboard where its slightly recessed but doesn't effect typing. I tested all the ports, no issues, screen is clean and perfect. It came with WIN 11 Pro, 512GB HD, 16GB RAM, Intel i5 1.6 quad core that turbos up to 3.9 GHZ and it's pretty fast, love the updated WIFI card as I have AT&T 300 MB fiber with new router that supports ver 6 WIFI and I get 300 MB over WIFI. I slaved my Lenovo HD and copied over data which went pretty fast. For $305 OTD (calif) this is a good deal and happy with purchase.

Came with 1 stick of 4Gb of memory instead of 2x2Gb. Came with Nvidia video board. Came with Windows 7 Pro and I just did the Windows 10 upgrade for free.
