A sturdy motherboard that has plenty of connections and rear io ports. The board was very easy to flash with a usb out of the box. Asus's driver program is really helpful at identifying what needs to be updated. Armory crate is pretty good too. The look of the board is really clean and matches my build really well.

Easy setup, great BIOS features, BIOS features easy to use and understand

Packaging was what you expect for a mobo, but the build quality for this price range is crazy good. Its easy to setup, and the ez releases on the m.2 and GPU slot is solid. So happy to have GPU releases so much easier to manage.

-Did not require a BIOS update from version F1 (9/24/2024) to work with system components -M.2 EZ-Latch, PCIe EZ-Latch, and Debug LEDs are nice features for easy system assembly -Used PBO to overclock 9800X3D to 5.4 GHz with zero issues -Used AMD EXPO to achieve 6000 MT/s on RAM with zero issues

Overall this motherboard fit my exact needs for all the parts that I needed on my build! I think it has some neat extra features that I haven't really delved into yet such as the WIFI option, but the extra peripherals such as bluetooth and also having 2 M.2 slots have been a nice bonus. Plus it fit perfectly and I had no problems installing it into my build! Overall, I'm satisfied~

Easy setup paired with 5600x

Overclocks well but beware, some am5 procs have a heat issue. AMD is limiting this issue through bios AGESA parameters - including xmp and expo ram profiles. Luckily I have not had any problems with the 7600x or the 7900x3d installed on my b650 pg lightning MB. I use ddr5 pc6000 overclocked to 6200. The 7600x was overclocked via ryzen master to a peak of 5.2 Ghz (all cores) without reaching Tj max. The 7900x3d cannot be overclocked via ryzen master. Its temperatures do run a little lower with its peak clock reaching 5.6 Ghz. The MB handles these two processors faultlessly with the appropriate bios.

MSI products have always worked well for me and this motherboard is great just like the others I have used for my builds in the past.

I really like all the usb ports, last one didn't have enough. Didn't have any trouble with setup, researched everything before buying to make sure. The build quality is really good and looks good.

36°C on full load, this motherboard works very cool. Easy to install fans, multiple Argb connection available. Asus did well on this B850 mobo, everything works pretty well. Worked out of the box with my Ryzen 5 9600X.
