Works perfectly, had absolutely no trouble to install.
The WIFI is great, but I really bought this to add Bluetooth to my computer. It does this really well. The connection reaches all corners of my house in stereo. Fast shipping. You do have to have a vacant USB socket on the motherboard. This is not just a USB socket, it is pin socket.
meets expectations I don't have an AX 5400, but my WAP's AX 3000 works just fine.
Requires a free pcie slot and a free usb plug on the motherboard for the bluetooth.
Automatically works in windows 11, works well
Cheap Worked out of the box Fast connection No drops in connection
Fast, easy to install(Windows 10 finds the drivers before you can check for them
The only thing I care about is compatibility with Linux, and I am happy to report that I plugged this thing into the motherboard yesterday, and it appears to work perfectly without installing anything. I didn't even install the drivers that came on the CD. I have only owned this thing one day, but things are good so far. Immediately after plugging in the card and booting up, I was able to use 'ip address' to see the card present (but no IP, since I hadn't set up networking obviously). Then, I edited /etc/netplan/_your_config.yaml with my wifi configuration. I ran sudo netplan --debug apply and the interface did not appear to pickup an IP address. The output of 'ip address' showed that the state of the interface was 'down', so I though I might have been missing firmware, so I messed around for a while trying to get my sources.list set up for 'contrib' and 'non-free', but turned out to not be necessary. I did install a few debugging tools, but I don't think any of them contributed to making it work. I was using 'connmanctl' command to debug the interface when I realized that it was already connected and working perfectly. I think my problem was not rebooting after running the netplan apply. Here is my kernel version/stack: uname -a Linux host 5.15.0-43-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jul 12 10:30:17 UTC 2022 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS Release: 22.04 Codename: jammy (server version) I observed transfer speeds of 17.7 MB/s, which is more than enough for my needs.
Easy, Plug and Play. Installed on PC with Windows 10 Home
This came with all needed to quickly get this product running. It even worked on my new Windows 11 operating system. It worked flawlessly from right out of package to present.
Fast Interesting Works well Good design
SMALL, super easy install
My internet went down so I finally tried this thing to see if I could connect my Linux PC to my cell phone hot spot. Yes, I can. Plugged this thing in and within minutes of doing nearly nothing to get it working, I had internet, from my phone. The actual reason I bought this thing, is to share files between PC and phone via bluetooth... Haven't tried that yet, but the configurator to set it up on the PC appeared when I plugged this thing in. I don't expect problems, it looked very simple to set up..
Large antenna. Good speed. Easy install.
i got this product for my girlfriends pc that I got her for Christmas because the one that came with her pc had horrible connection. This one I'm glad to say has much better connection.
Has never failed or caused connection issues. I was afraid to cut the cord due to gaming latency but I have had absolutely no issues with this over the past 3 years. 5ghz speeds within my home network are amazing as well. It's also GREAT to get on the 5ghz band if you are in a crowded area with lots of 2.4ghz networks and devices. My roommate only has a 2.4gh card and runs into slow connection issues here and there, whereas I'm fine. Finally, the 5ghz really shines when I stream movies from my computer to my TV. I've never had any hiccups or slow downs there.
Plug and play easy install Good speeds
- Easy to install - Worked pretty much out of box (After reinstall of the regular Intel WI-FI Driver) - Noticed an improvement in WI-FI performance immediately - Bluetooth also worked pretty much right of the box as well
Gets good reception Nice and small
