Reasonably priced, nicely finished PSU. Aside from the issue mentioned under "Cons" the balance of Montech's description is accurate with regard to the PSU's dimensions and cable length. Fan is as-depicted; black, seven-bladed, and was found to be very quiet. The cables are indeed flat and very pliable. Simply speaking for myself, I prefer these over the bundled and braided variety. The unneeded Molex cable folded-up upon itself neatly, and then it was easy to stash away.

Was on back order but only had to wait a few days for Newegg to replenish their stock. This PSU runs and powers up all my new devices and Strix Z790-E motherboard. The modular cabling is what grabs my attention the most as its very flexible to reroute , tie-wrap and create a very clean layout . Installed with a Asys Ryujin III 360 AIO cooler , Asus Prime GeForce 5060 Ti video card, etc

Replaced a decent 850w platinum rated unit with this Seasonic 1000w. Not sure what was wrong with the system, but the new PSU seems to have fixed it. Ryzen 7900x + Radeon 7900xtx system. It was solid the first few weeks I built it with the 850w, and then started doing hard resets a few weeks after building it. The new 1000w seems to have fixed that problem (so far). We'll see if there was any lasting damages though. My GPU is still exhibiting problems (bought on newegg, not sure who I warranty through on that), but the hard resets have stopped. Not Seasonic or newegg's fault, was my own fault for not thinking of the transient high power draw under load.

It's a shame the case hides the PSU because this one looks really sleek and nice. It is supplying power to the PC so I can confidently say it is working as intended.

Very well made construction. Fan covering as you can see is stuff metal so you're not going to have to worry about cheap cover bending. Solid frame hold fan securely and keeps everything quiet. No rattles. Love only using cables needed to maximize air flow. Static main power has nice sheath and rubber strain relief.
