Extremely comfortable, even wearing for hours on long video calls Doesn't suppress sound around you, leaving you with awareness of your surroundings

Quality build you can expect. Sounds good for mixing , I sound is flat but has a little more punch in the bass and slightly more crisp on the high end , mid range is perfectly flat and I am happy with the way my mix sounds . These are very comfortable headphones and they fit over the ear with ample space . The pads are really soft and the weight of the headset is not heavy you can almost forget they are on your head . I see why these are highly recommended head phones for mixing , They sound great and you can spend hours with these on . The 90 dollar discount code made these even better . Think I only paid 160 CAD. wow guys thanks newegg , amazing deal. Fast shipping . Much better than my last experience , good to see you guys improving the service - cheers

Super comfortable for long periods of time. Outstanding sound when driven by a receiver or pre-amp. Newegg low price was the clincher.

-Audio is crisp and clear -Bass is solid -Loud -Comfortable to wear -Surprisingly low amount of plastic. The band is even metal, but covered in a buttoned-up pleather sheath I purchased the 80 Ohm version and I'm not using an amplifier, but honestly they beat my pair of Audio Technica M50x easily.

I cannot say anything bad about these wonderful headphones. The mids are full warm and crisp, the bass is full and excellent when paired with a software that can manage the EQ like a mixer. When added with an ASUS Xonar STX sound card, you will need a card or AMP to power these babies, it makes for a powerful sound set-up. I cannot give anymore high remarks to this masterpiece of German golden butter. The headphones have nice grip on the head without feeling too tight but enough to head bang whenever you feel like it to extreme proportions. To put it simply, they are like clouds on your ears. If you go on the Beyerdynamic website there are replacement parts for the earcups and headbands for most, if not all, of their headsets. The semi-open design gives you the best of both open and closed headphones which is wonderful for anything and everything since it is in between. I have looked around at Bose, Sennheiser and Shure; all cheap plastic. Although they may have decent sound, the build quality is awful! That is why I went with the all metal, except the headband and padding, pair of headphones; DT880's. You CAN NOT go wrong with these headphones. The first time I put them on, I could not stop listening to music and messing with the sound cards EQ's to get the right balance. The Germans always make good stuff that will last for years to come. Overall, 5/5 & 10/10 if you have the money, this is the way to go. Buy these!
