It is fast and reliable and performs well with some other than Microsoft O.C.R. program... It's a great scanner if you own an older machine with a 64 bit Windows 10 Pro setup.
Slim, easy to see and read front panel buttons, versatile multi function software. It may be inexpensive but it works very well. Used primarily in the the "ScanGear" mode to copy black and white documents for work. Multiple modes include: Auto, Document, Photo, OCR, Stitch, ScanGear and PDF Editor.
Versatility; software (Silverfast); double set of film frames; accuracy; great batch scanning capabilities
