Silent operation when grid power is on. (Not all UPS's are silent. Some drone all the time.) Fans only come on when grid power goes off. Also, the unit comes with rack mount hardware including a RACK SHELF! Controls are easy to use and graphic display makes sense.

Top build quality. Good looks. Good runtime. Availability of support and parts very reassuring. Expansion slot. USB. Full time DC-DC pure sine PWM.

Hot start capable Well built ventilated screen goes into a sleep state when not actively going through settings.

ECO options alows powered external drives and accessories to power up and down automatically as computer asserts USB. Removes need for another switched power bar. MacOS 10.14 automagically discovered UPS and Power Saver preference pane configured it. LCD display offers interesting info on service entrance power. It is easy to estimate run time in a power outage situation. Convenient “power brick” compatible outlets. Stable physical configuration, think sow height versus vertical integration. It is possible to redefine the voltage limits that define UPS mode.

Can handle demanding load Easy setup Good customer support Easy tracking of power usage

Just a great product. I was debating between this and the Tripplite. I am very happy I went with APC. The product is very well made and the cloud as well as local interface to the unit is excellent. I was worried before delivery about given its short chassis how it would handle in the rack using only the front rails and the came up with a really nice brace for under the unit that fits securely and easily handles the weight of the unit. It is also dead silent which for me is a must as it is within my office and quiet matters.

Length: it's shorter than others so it will mount fine in 2 post racks using included heavy-duty mounting brackets. Price: excellent value for your dollar. Tons of features you would not expect for a device under $1000. Quiet: does not make a horrible racket like other UPS in its class. Just a periodic chirp and light fan sound. Powerful: 20A means you can put more load on it and it will charge faster.

Easy setup, easy load on the server. The server interface was easy to setup and provides good information on the status of the UPS. No problems encountered

Plenty of capacity to keep our Xserve and network switch online during brief power outages

So far so good. The item works great. it has an APPLEESQUES look and has the plugs all on one side.

Does what its supposed too. Been running for several months. We have had several short power outages and it has performed well

The price as it was on sale, good reputable company, quiet. Eaton is a big company that deals a lot in the automotive industry which is how I know of them.
