3 out of 5 eggsLasted less then 4yrs

Pros: Comfortable, accurate, lots of buttons, high DPI, good driver support

Cons: Fragile, short battery life, high acceleration at high DPI, stutters, lag when connected through a hub

Other Thoughts: Bought 2-10-2011 / Died 11-11-2014 --- It started jumping all over the screen and the driver stopped detecting it. Then I noticed the lights would blink all red every 10 seconds or so. It is sad that the more you spend on a Logitech product the shorter the life span is.
Was a great mouse while it lasted as long as you kept the DPI under 4000 any higher the stutter and acceleration was notable.

1 out of 5 eggsStopped Tracking

Pros: Solid feel and build, does not feel like a cheap piece of plastic. Best scroll wheel feel and functionality.

Cons: Completely stopped tracking! What good is a mouse if all you can do is left and right click?

Expensive.

2 out of 5 eggsFlawed mouse

Pros: Good buttons, nice feel in hand, good weight

Cons: I've had this mouse for two years. After a few months of owning it, it started this strange double-clicking issue. Sometimes you click, and it will double click instead. When you try to click and drag, it will someones release the click partly through. This is a known error with many Logitech mice, which Logitech has acknowledged. However, their solution does not work, and they will not recall.

Like I said, I've had the mouse for 2 years. It goes through phases. Someones it will work perfectly for months at a time, and other times, it will be absolutely frustrating and double clicking on almost every click. Makes gaming very difficult if not impossible. I've hung on this long because I spent $65 on this mouse and didn't want to throw that investment away. However, I am stubborn that way. I will definitely not buy another Logitech mouse until they address this issue!

Also, the charge only lasts about a day or day and a half now, meaning its essentially a corded mouse since I have to plug it in all the time. I guess that happens after 2 years though...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Bought this back in Aug 2010 and I've used it both wired and wireless up until now. It has always been great. The ability to toggle the scroll wheel is useful. The 4 buttons by the thumb are great though I would argue that they could resize the ones further away to be a bit bigger).

Cons: Starting on Feb 2014, my right click no longer works well. You can still hear it click but the action doesn't really register. Logitech forum recommends that you unplug, remove battery, and click all buttons for 20-30 seconds but that doesn't seem to help. I guess I can't really complain after using it for a little over 3 years (just outside of their warranty, hm...)

Other Thoughts: Solid mouse with many flexible options. Logitech sure knows when the mouse will stop functioning.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Perfect size and button layout

Cons: Non that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: The button layout and individual feel of each button is outstanding. I have larger hands and this mouse does not fatigue my hand at all.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse but not for OSX

Pros: Great build quality, comes with a nice battery, works wired or wireless, precise.

Cons: Cable is a little thick but not a big deal. No OSX support, that IS a big deal. It would be nice if gaming mice supported Bluetooth, -2 eggs for that.

Other Thoughts: I really like this mouse. I need a precise responsive mouse for working in lightroom for hours at a time. My previous Logitech was great for this, but I saw this one go on sale and decided to get it. I'm happy with it but Logitech really need to support OSX across their entire line, when you make nice things they should work on nice computers not just PCs.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent MMO Mouse

Pros: 1. Comfortable form factor, very reminiscent of MX Revolution or MX 518 mouse.

2. Onboard Memory

3.* Much heavier than most other mice. I generally prefer heavy mice, to some others this may be a con.

4. Thumb rest in an MMO mouse is a big plus for me.

5. Programmable side buttons work more like switches rather than buttons. You don't really press them you just flick the side buttons requiring you to do a lot less work with your fingers and a lot more time concentrating on your game or software.

6. Hybrid mouse (Will work as a wireless mouse for about 8-12 hours depending on the game; when charging, turns into a wired mouse)

Cons: 1. Sweat stains easily stay on the mouse.

2. The protective cover on the mouse begins to peel off in the area most used. In my case it was the side buttons.

3. Setpoint Software really needs a UI update. The software works, but it is not the simplest to use for someone who is not a gamer (or a person who doesn't use a computer very frequently.) If you are a gamer you will not find this to be a problem. Kind of wished Logitech stepped up to the quality and look of Razer's mouse software.

4. The chord is not braided. Razer's Naga Epic wireless mouse includes a braided chord, don't really see why Logitech couldn't include a braided chord as well, especially since this mouse is part of their gaming peripheral lineup.

5. Seems to only have a right-handed model only.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this mouse is the best MMO mouse on the market right now simply because it does not have a bunch of buttons covering up the entire thumb rest. This was a big deciding factor for me. I needed for the mouse to be heavy and to have an open thumb rest and to have more than 10 programmable keys (13 keys). I was hesitant in getting a wireless mouse, but after having used this mouse for almost a year, I realized that the technology has gone a long way especially when it comes to precision. The battery life is really good and when you're charging you can still use it as a wired mouse. This mouse was a no-brainer.
