5 out of 5 eggsDepends on What You Want

Pros: Before anything else, this keyboard is of superb build quality, it has a really hefty weight and feel, nothing on it feels of even average build quality. It's responsive, and comes with both a PS/2 and USB connector. For me the PS/2 is just a matter of freeing up a USB port, but some people really like the ability to push as many keys as they like. Do not be thrown off by Rosewill being an "off" brand, these are genuine Cherry switches and the rest of the keyboard is solid to match the hefty price you pay.

Cons: I personally didn't like the feel of the Blue switches, read more below.

The PS/2 cable ended up bleeping out on my Brown keyboard, and the cable is exactly the same in both models.

Other Thoughts: Quick note, if you've ever tried a different brand of keyboard with Blue switches, the sound won't exactly be the same. I had played with a Blackwidow in a store before, and the Rosewill keyboard definitely has a slightly more "chunk" sound to it than the very light "tickatacka" of the lighter (and I assume lower quality) Razer keys.

I already owned a Rosewill Cherry MX Brown Switch keyboard and after reading a lot on the different switches and sometimes being frustrated (almost always when entering passwords) about not exactly knowing when the switches had actuated, I got a Blue keyboard.

I really do love the clicky sound and positive feedback when I'm typing. But I never fully understood the actuation difference between Brown and Blue. I eventually switched back to my Brown keyboard (which I'm typing flawlessly on now), because the actuation force *is* noticeably higher on the Blue switches. I'm told you can lubricate the switches, which I may still do as it sits in my closet, but I really like the smooth glide of the Browns personally.

Do you research, to each his own.

2 out of 5 eggsGood when it works...

Pros: Heavy and very tactile.

Cons: The connection to the mini USB port attached to the keyboard clocks out frequently. You have to mess with it to get the connection back. Happens even if you do not move the keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggsWasn't Quite the Click I was expecting.

Pros: The keyboard has great tactile feel to it.

Ability to switch between the usb and ps/2 is a great functionality.

It's lightier then most mechanical keyboards.

Cons: Not as loud as I'd hoped, I previously owned a ABS mechanical keyboard that i was hoping to replace with this one, the click is rather.. Lacking on this keyboard.

The cord is braided, which is nice, However it's not as rugged / tough as most braided cables are.

Other Thoughts: I was hoping to find a replacement for the ABS I have owned prior, I will be keeping this one, tho it's not as nice. The ABS was 1/2 the price with much better construction.

I was also looking for more of a Clack sound, this keyboard gives off a delicate click when pressed.

5 out of 5 eggsYou'll never go back

Pros: Once you go mechanical you'll never go back. I love this keyboard, I find myself looking for excuses to type something up. Typing speed also increased by 10 WPM. Gaming on this keyboard is not an issue for me, even being a blue switch.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I got another MX blue keyboard (a Leopold) just for work, as I do a lot of typing there.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding keyboard!

Pros: I enjoy the smaller profile of this keyboard, without giving up the num pad, and even the keys feel slightly different than the previous keyboards I've had. I enjoy the simple look of this keyboard without having to use a glossy finish or a load of lights all over it.

Cons: The port is the only issue I see. I've had my PS/2 cable connected to one PC, and used the USB cable for other computers. After switching it just a few times, the port on the keyboard seems very loose.

Other Thoughts: This is my third mechanical keyboard I've owned (received as a gift), and it's my favorite. I have seen small mechanical keyboards that give up the num pad, which I thought were great, except the part about the num pad missing (I occasionally use it). The other mechanical keyboards I own are a Das Keyboard and Razer BlackWidow Ultimate, both with blue keys.

The only extra I would prefer to have are media keys to start/stop music, but it's not a con for me.

3 out of 5 eggsMini USB port a problem

Pros: Love the cherry blue switches.

Cons: The soldering on the USB port to the CB on the inside of the keyboard came loose. When I bought it I read that it could be a problem, so I was careful and never moved it while the cable was plugged in. I managed to re-solder it, but I doubt that it'll last.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Well built and solid

Cons: Poor quality control

Other Thoughts: I ordered this keyboard and it arrived with one defective key switch ('D'). The RMA was processed quickly and painlessly. I would have preferred that the first keyboard was fully functional but the second one is excellent. This inconvenience could have been avoided with better quality control. The appearance is great; I like the red underlay. The construction is solid; I have used Filco and Razer and this one feels as good as the Filco. People have mentioned a flaw in the mini USB jack on the keyboard being prone to breakage but that is not an issue since the keyboard is stationary on my desk, I see it as an advantage to have the dedicated PS/2 cable. I interpreted "laser printing" on the keycaps to mean laser etched but the paint/ink is raised slightly. Still the keycaps are clear and standard. This keyboard makes me want to type more.

2 out of 5 eggsIt was great while it lasted

Pros: It's a great mechanical keyboard. The quality matches the likes of Filco with their plate mounted boards.

Cons: Too bad it didn't work after a couple of months. It would lose connection every couple of seconds. The keyboard needs to be placed perfectly in order for it to work.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't Last Long

Pros: Great for the first 3 months.

Cons: At around 4-5 months the connector started to fail and would lose connection at the slightest movement just by typing.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend this keyboard.

3 out of 5 eggsBe Careful With It

Pros: Very good feel.
Keys are durable.
Love the sound.

Cons: Here's what I came to write pretty much:

Be very careful if your keys begin to malfunction. My escape key didn't work in-game (SC2) but worked outside, so I did the usual. Restart SC2, unplug keyboard and replug. Well, I go to plug the USB into the keyboard again, and the USB inside the keyboard goes DEEPER into the keyboard! I bought it 6/23/12.

As far as I know, my keyboard is useless now. Tried unscrewing screws, nadda. Maybe Rosewill will replace it, but just be really careful.

Other Thoughts: It's good, but be very careful when using its USB.
