Pros: Good keyboard for the price.
I have never bought a bad "Rosewill" product... yet.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Got this for my wife's PC because it has the speaker volume control buttons on it.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill keyboard

Pros: Works with Windows 8.1 just fine.
Positive feel when typing.
For a replacement or spare keyboard it's great.

Cons: Can't see one yet. Once my son gets his that will be the test for durability.

Other Thoughts: There's only so many time one can take apart and wash the soda and coffee off so the keys don't stick. This is a great replacement and spare for when the Lenovo beat it to death keyboard dies...

5 out of 5 eggsgreat 'n' cheap

Pros: First and foremost is the price. Any time you can get a multimedia keyboard for under fifteen dollars you should grab one just as an emergency extra. If you have kids or cats you'll know what I mean. Really a sweet LITTLE keyboard. Yeah, it's about 3/4 scale but has lots of extra keys. You really shouldn't be picking it up and twisting it (unless you are trying to get tater chip crumbs out of it) so the longitudinal flexibility shouldn't matter any.

Cons: How is it so small but have so many extra keys? Other reviews have been whining about the single, tiny backspace key and the oddball enter key. The "home", "end", and "page" keys are arranged oddly as well. Extra keys like for the calculator, wake from sleep, and home page are nice but contribute to the clutter.

Other Thoughts: I've been using mine for three years now and it hasn't skipped a beat yet other than for my hunt and peck, two finger reporter style of typing. When I sit down at a more normal keyboard I'm dazed and confused. Over all I very highly recommend this keyboard. It may take a month or so to get really acclimated to it but once you do the typing process flows so smoothly, you'll be glad you gave it a chance. I am.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat price with rebate... Bad keyboard

Pros: Was free after rebate. Works on win 8.1. Has multimedia features.

Cons: My device has somehow lost the ability to use most of the characters above the numbers like the @ sign for instance...which is kinda important in this day and age. They just stopped working after a few uses.

Also it's just not a very comfortable keyboard. I find myself continuously hitting additional keys and having to backspace them out. Which I never have to do on other keyboards. Maybe the keys are too sensitive so if you just brush them it types. Where others require a full keypress. Would be a pain for everyday use.

Other Thoughts: I gave it two stars because despite the problems.. If you can get it on sale and with a rebate for next to nothing it works as a backup keyboard in a pinch.

And maybe my bad keyboard was just bad luck on my part.

I wouldn't recommend as a main keyboard though as I found it tedious. Others may not be as demanding.

Didn't bother burdening newegg with the return given the price.

3 out of 5 eggsFeels cheap, and hard to type...

Pros: It was on sale for the price of $7.99 with free shipping. Hard to beat at that price, It types, and it's a keyboard with a few goodies, like a hotkey for the calculator, volume up/down with a mute button. Even at the regular price of $14.99 it feels like it may not be too bad a deal, and may last a couple of years.

Cons: BUT... I'm not sure how long it's going to work. I gave it a gentle twist, and it flexed like crazy. It feels very flimsy and small...

The cord is somewhat short I feel (about 5ft)... I had to use an extension cord to get it to the computer.

The backspace key is awkwardly small, and the whole keyboard layout is awkward. It uses an oversized <Enter> Key, and a horribly small <Backspace> key, that if I want to use it, I've got to look for it. It has an irritating type-feel to the keys, and they're somewhat hard to press fully and comfortably. I find myself having to hit a key twice sometimes to get it to register.

The Number Lock/Caps Lock light is very dim, and you'd almost have to have the lights off to see it.

Other Thoughts: Bearing in mind 1> I've only had the keyboard for a day, and maybe the keys might "break in" in a week or so.

2> I only bought this keyboard on the spur of the minute, because my old one died on me. I'll prolly use it for a couple of weeks, and I'll be ordering a more high end keyboard. One that I'm sure I can give some high recommendations for.

All in all, it's worth the money spent.
