Rosewill RHB-610 (RIUH-11001) 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub

Pros: Inexpensive, powered USB 3.0

Cons: I bought two of these as the RHB-600 was unavailable. One Is basically dead, can't keep devices online for more then a few seconds, disconnecting every few seconds. The second one will disconnect with the slighest bump, constantly unmounting my drives again and again.

Other Thoughts: Most Rosewill products I've had great luck with, this one however is just a bad design. With constant disconnects and the strange round shape it's hard to stack, hard to keep with other docks. Only nice thing is it's powered, but buy the RHB-600 instead, I've had it for over a year, with no issues.

Pros: Small

Cons: Super bright LED. Doesn't work. Never did.

Other Thoughts: I got one of these and it was DOA. This is my second one and it doesn't read half the things I put into it. I'm pretty fed up with Rosewill brands and most likely won't be buying with them anymore.

Pros: When it isn't cutting in and out it works fine. Haven't tested USB 3.0 speeds, so cannot confirm.

Cons: Owned for two months and I've got the same problem others have reported.

All my devices continually drop in and out. I have a wireless keyboard and a wired mouse regularly connected and from time to time they will briefly cut out and back in again, causing an interruption in my work. Didn't have this problem when I was plugged directly into the laptop, and I even have the AC plugged into the hub, so it shouldn't be a power issue.

Other Thoughts: I had high hopes, but have received mixed results. If it wasn't for cutting in and out, I'd be happy with it.

Pros: great idea......

Cons: i have a custom system and wanted to increase my number of USB3 connection ports. Not sure what the deal is with these guys(i bought 2 of them), but when i plug them in, i constantly hear the sound that windows makes when something is plugged in, then unplugs.....constantly. My mouse would go unresponsive, my keyboard too. I have narrowed it down to these hubs. I have 1 audio interface device that is plugged into a single hub. It randomly connects and disconnects. I will see the lights flicker on it and hear the windows "disconnect" alert. I have tried these hubs in my USB3 port and in my USB2 port with the same results. I won't buy anything else from rosewill.

Pros: Comes with A/C Adapter
Nicely built, nice material

Cons: Blue light that shows its on is blinding! Lights up the room.

Other Thoughts: will probably put electrical tape on the light.

Pros: none

Cons: even with the included AC adapter connected for additional power, all my devices continually drop in and out, and those are the USB 2.0 devices.

USB 3.0 storage devices perform better in my USB 2.0 laptop ports, and they don't continually drop in and out of connection status.

Other Thoughts: not worth an RMA. Im going to give to someone I dislike.

Im still a rosewill fan, however, whoever made this hub for them failed.

No need for a response, rosewill, dont wast your time.

Pros: Little or no USB 3.0 functionality at this price

Cons: The high speed cable pairs are not connected or shorted and not working.

I don't think Rosewill knows how to manufacture USB 3.0 devices.

Other Thoughts: Support from Rosewill is all talk and no action.

After 3 months I'm still waiting for repairs/replacement from Rosewill.

Pros: Small, Fast, 4 ports

Cons: It stopped working on me...port rest intermittently.

Other Thoughts: The hub has been working flawless for my Keyboard and Mouse. All of a sudden the ports will intermittently reset (like a recycle). Devices work fine plugged in to my PC.

Pros: Worked when it did.

Cons: Suddenly stopped working after about a week of use and now none of the ports detect anything I plug into it. I verified that all the peripherals work on my other USB ports on my laptop so it seems this thing is now useless. Not looking forward to RMA'ing this considering its not even 2 weeks old.

Pros: Very inexpensive. nice small form factor, plenty of connections.

Cons: Some ports seem to be inactive, devices plugged in are not recognized. Double checked on a different brand USB 3.0 hub and they worked. Aside from the non functional ports, its ok.

Other Thoughts: If I had it to do over, I'd just go with a more reliable hub.
