Pros: This card worked the minute it was installed in my system (ASUS P5B-Deluxe Wi-Fi), it took one reboot and from there it has work at the rated speeds, although not everything you can plug in this connectors is or could be up to speed, it does work. I used a high-end SDHC (UHS Speed Class 1 95/50 MB/s) flash card on a USB 2.0 card reader and the writing speeds jump from a burst of 190MB/s slowing down to 44MB/s, moving a 3.1GB video file. I bought a case to use the front panel headers and they work great too, this card has not slow down or given any issues to my system ever since I start using it back in May of 2013. I'm using Win7 Home Edition 64-bit and didn't have to install drivers either. The power connector to it was not required for my purposes but I connected a power plug to it anyway.

Overall Review: If you don't want to upgrade your motherboard, this is a great solution, but also a case with a USB 3.0 header would help even better, I got a Fractal Design case for $100 and with the front headers it has made my computer get better transfer rates. Better than upgrading to a whole new system. In my opinion.

Overall Review: This card delivers exactly what it promises, 2 USB3 connections and internal 19 connector. Using the 19 pin connector on two front USB3 ports on my computer I experienced 90.56MB/s read and 91.28MB/s write. The card itself has a very low profile and is not long which allows for better airflow in the case.

Pros: Card itself is small Comes with low profile bracket Equally as fast as any other usb 3.0 controller I've used, including on-board controllers

Cons: The card didn't seem square. I had to bend the bracket a little bit to get it to fit all the way into the slot and still have the screw holes line up with the case. None of my other expansion cards in this case have this issue. I was able to bend the bracket slightly by hand so it wasnt' much of an issue.

Overall Review: Other annoyances include having to run a 4 pin connector from the power supply all the way accross my motherboard in addition to the 20 pin usb3 header. Why are we not moving everything to the SATA power connector? As long as it continues to perform for the life of this current motherboard, I'll be happy.

Pros: Fast when it works. DL 1 large file on old abit ip35 mobo 130MB/sec and upload ~100 on Windows 7 Ult. 64bit. Chipset is Etron EJ188 USB 3.0 Host Controller

Cons: Very hard to get installed. Tried the included driver in the hidden (middle of the packaging) mini cd with errors reading a memory stick. Says it installs correctly but recognizes memory device very slowly and indicated device either needs formating or other error messages. Memory stick works great on other computers....

Overall Review: Go to Etron website and download more current driver! CD version of Etron driver for the two driver files installed by the setup file are version 1.0.0.115 dated 7/2012. OK, went to Syba website. Uninstalled and reinstalled downloaded driver. Same result but Syba has an older driver 1.0.0.111 3/2012! Went to Etron website, downloaded 1.0.0.118 7/2013. Success!!!!! Pretty sad Syba website has the oldest driver of the 3! So if the mini CD drivers do not work, try Etron website.

Pros: Offers a way to utilize the two computer case-mounted USB 3.0 ports (like those on the Antec Three Hundred Two case) when the motherboard doesn't have the requisite 20-pin USB header (like the ASUS M5A78). Card's packaging says the maker is IOCrest, but it's apparently a Syba product. And Syba (not IOCrest) was the only source I found of a working Win8 x64 driver for the SY-PEX20140.

Cons: Driver on the included cd failed to activate the card on my Windows 8 x64 system, even after a reboot. The IOCrest web site contained no drivers nor any immediate help with getting the card operational. In fact, this specific card was not even listed as an IOCrest product on their own web site! But Googling the model number, SY-PEX20140, I discovered this card is supported by Syba, and the driver I found on Syba's web site got the card operational after re-installing it and rebooting the system. And it now works great!

Overall Review: Comes with an optional, low-profile bracket for those with a low-profile case, in addition to the conventional tall bracket.

Pros: It has two rear USB 3.0 ports, but what was really important to me was the female front port connector. I have a ASUS H81M-K LGA 1150 motherboard. It does not include the USB 3.0 female connector. The case I purchased only had front usb 3.0 so without this card my front ports would not work.

Cons: None, works like a charm.

Overall Review: I have windows 10 installed and this card did not need any drivers. I just plugged it in and it worked right away with my system.

Pros: Provides USB 3 to a motherboard that doesn't have it or doesn't have a 20 pin header.

Overall Review: This is the third card that I bought and I've installed them in a socket 939 (WinXP) machine, a socket am2+ (Win 7, 64 bit) machine and a socket am3+ (Win 7, 64 bit) machine. The latter machine has external USB type A ports on the back but there's no 20 pin header on the board. This card does not conflict with the Windows USB 3 drivers and it's equally as fast.

Pros: Adds USB3.0 header so I can connect the front panel USB3.0 ports (the one on the motherboard is used for something different). I used the driver that was on the CD which is bundled with it and have no stability issues nor BSODs.

Cons: I had a lot of trouble installing this unlike any addon card in my case currently. It appears that either the bracket is not straight or the card that the bracket connects to is not straight. I ended up bending the bracket slightly just so I could secure the card in place. This is with the full bracket, not the low profile one.
