This model does not support 1394 FireWire sound card, which is used by professional musicians for music, and is generally used in recording studios. The 1394 card required for FireWire sound card requires TI-chip. This model is a VIA chip, so it does not support FireWire sound card! There is no problem connecting to general DV!
