1. Connect PC 1 to the USB-C1 port ;
2. Connect PC 2 to the USB-C2 port ;
3. Connect the monitor to the HDMI port labeled "monitor";
4. Connect the keyboard mouse U disk to the USB-A port;
5. Connect the power adapter to the POWER 1 and POWER 2 of the KVM switch to charge the computer or tablet (optional),power adapter not included;
6. Connect wired remote control to switch between 2 input sources.
Friendly Reminder:
Video adapters for converting HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, DVI to USB C are not available yet, so please make sure your computer / device has at least one USB Type C port(support Data&Video&PD) before buying this USB C KVM switch selector.
Charge Your Computers
Charge 2 computers separately via Power Delivery (up to 100 watts per computer).
Connect the power adapter of computer 1 to the port marked "POWER 1", and the power adapter of computer 2 to the port marked "POWER 2" to charge computer 1 and computer 2 respectively, and also power the USB KVM switch (No need to connect a PD charger when you don't need charge your computers).
This USB Type C KVM switch contains 4 USB-C connections associated with 2 ports,each port has a power input and a "PC"/device port,each power port can only provide power to the associated "PC" port.
With no power connected to the KVM it will draw about 5V 0.2A from whichever is the selected "PC" port. If power is provided to input 2 and connection 1 is used for the device then power is taken from the device on port 1 to power the USB-C switch - it won't utilise power from the unselected port.
If 2 power connections are made to the KVM and 2 devices connected then they are both charged with each power port only ever providing power through to the associated "PC" port. e.g. with one PSU limited to 15V and the other 20V, 15V is provided through to the "PC" port associated with the 15V input and 20V is provided through to the "PC" port associated with the 20V input.
Since the KVM switcher requires power, the power output to the device will not be as high as the power provided to the input.
