The Adesso Xtream H5 is a black, wired over-ear multimedia headset with a 3.5 mm jack and flexible omnidirectional microphone, suited to smartphone and tablet users who want a headset for calls and everyday listening.
Recommended For
- People working from a desk who need a wired headset for calls, with an adjustable boom microphone and inline volume and call controls.
- Phone or tablet users who want a headset that connects through a 3.5 mm audio jack for calls or listening without relying on Bluetooth.
- Computer users whose device has separate headphone and microphone ports and can use the included 3.5 mm Y-adapter.
- Listeners who prefer a straightforward stereo headset for everyday audio and voice communication over wireless features or specialized gaming controls.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For a laptop video meeting or online class, plug in the H5 to listen and speak through its adjustable microphone; the headset combines audio and voice pickup without a separate mic.
- When listening to music, videos, or other media on a compatible phone or tablet, connect the 3.5 mm plug and adjust listening volume using the headset’s controls.
- For calls on a compatible mobile device, use the built-in microphone and call controls to talk and manage calls without holding the headset’s microphone near your mouth.
- At a desktop PC with separate headphone and microphone jacks, use the included Y-adapter to connect the headset for listening and voice chat.
- In a shared room, use the over-ear headset for private media listening instead of playing audio through speakers; it does not have active noise cancellation.
