This radio has 22 FRS/GMRS channels, each with 121 privacy codes, so you can always find a clear channel. NOAA weather channels with alert keep you updated with severe weather conditions, and FM radio function helps you stay in communication and informed during emergency situations. Emergency feature allows you to send an alert siren with a press of a button while you are in distress. Weather-proof rating to IP54 ensures trouble-free performance in various outdoor applications. You'll also appreciate its built-in flashlight, iVOX/VOX hands-free capability, low battery alerts, and dual power options that allow you to remove depleted NiMH rechargeable battery (bundled) and pop in three AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) to minimize downtime.
