Even the simplest videos are clear, no lag, the games i play while not the latest and greatest have exceptional detail and very little power draw.

This purchase was easy with my trade-in and dealing with Newegg for years and deserves my loyalty! Always been fair on pricing and easy to deal with!

I was an early adopter and grabbed a b70 on day 1, it was horrible. It barely worked, pcie 5.0 would not negotiate, drivers timed out, power would drop out, performance was barely above b580 in games, the only thing that was fast was some edge case pytorch training. Even the vllm performance was not great and very limited models supported. After a few months, now in the gamer drivers in windows we get fan control and overclocking, gaming performance really is about on target with a rx 6800 xt or 9060 xt, DCS world runs great, COD Warzone with FG on 1080p XESS Native = 250+ fps. I'm sure not all issues are fixed especially on the model side with llamacpp and vllm but this is now good enough and well beyond day 1. Sure my 7900 xtx smokes it in all gaming aspects but this gpu really is faster than a 4090 in some pytorch training scenarios and 35% faster than a 5080 in bert tokenization. One of the biggest issues for daily life was the fan control on the day 1 intel version of the b70 I had. The gpu was idling 60-70c. The asrock version has the same vapor chamber as the radeon ai pro r9700 which is definitely a better GPU for AI/Training/Inference and about twice as fast gaming. Now with fan control the gpu idles at 28-30c in windows and gaming hits 58-60c with a relatively inaudible (with headphones) fan speed. 270k tuned at 185w tpp pro b70 games and workloads less than 200w Doesnt heat up the room

Product arrived, had a great sale, and was in good condition. I was unsure if it would be delivered to my rural location but it made it and made my day.

I ultimately chose this card over the Sapphire Nitro + only due to aesthetic reasons. While Hardware Unboxed did a video on all the 9070XT cards the Sapphire one came out on top in almost every test but by only a few FPS, the ASRock one was almost always second. With only a few FPS difference you won't notice it anyways and you can chalk that up to normal margin of error during testing. Not to mention the ASRock card is about 60 dollars cheaper. This card fit in my Lianli A3 perfectly with about 3mm of space between the power supply and the GPU. I mostly play Doom, Last of Us Pat 1 and Cod MW3 and this card is no slouch when gaming. I came from a 7900XT which on its own was good but the 9070XT is such a big upgrade in performance. Paired with a 7800X3D I have yet to find a game that this card struggles on. Some people have complained about coil whine. I don't have any during gaming but I will get a tiny bit of whine at loading screens when the FPS pegs above 500FPS or so and even then its barely audible. Once the FPS comes down to normal (normal for me is around 250-300) the whine isn't there. I do recommend this card over all the others just due to aesthetic reasons (grey just just doesn't go with many builds like the Sapphire card) and pricing if you can get it on sale.
