The Ryzen 7 5800x is a fantastic CPU with Single-core performance that will beat anything intel has to offer with multi-core performance that makes most of the competition redundant. Very energy efficient for the performance and has good thermals. Stays cool with air. Upgrading from a Zen2 3800x everything I can think of doing is smoother and more responsive. There is a marked improvement with single core applications and gaming. Worked after a BIOS update on my ASUS X570-E
