I read many reviews of others complaining of the short stock cables that come with external HD's, so knew I'd need another cable to go with my Seagate 1TB. Other reviews complain of a dramatic drop in data transfer speed when using longer cables. So I conducted my own test. Right out of the box, I connected the stock cable to a USB 3.0 port, then chose a 4 gig file, then copied and pasted. I then connected this StarTech cable to the same port, and performed the same copy/paste with the same file. The results: Stock cable: 53 seconds StarTech: 44 seconds Not only was there no loss in speed or function, this cable actually IMPROVED the speed! I suppose it's possible that the PC itself caused a difference in this test, for example it may have been performing some other unrelated task during the short cable copy but not during the longer one. But I did perform this test one right after the other and without doing anything else.

This is a very well built cable . But when you order Tripp Lite cables that is what you get. This cable is not one of those that have a thin jacket around the wires. Very well molded ends and sturdy.

This rechargable handheld vacuum is very useful in cleaning smaller spaces and the first day it arrived it used it to clean an older gaming laptop. It did a fantastic job and is pretty easy to clean. The small handful of attachments work well
