Tiny and mighty ! Perfect with a 5080

2 years ago I bought a pre-built gaming computer with a RTX 3060. From the start it crashed during heavy game play. I replaced a few parts and even sent the GPU back for a replacement. Nothing fixed it and I just assumed that crashing once or twice a day was normal. Ever since upgrading with this power supply about a month ago, I've had zero crashes.

Beefy boy. Is relatively quiet. Handles whatever I throw at is. Cables click in SOO easily and hold on SUPER hard.

Clean look, works as expected.

I used to buy Corsair power supplies but switched to high end SeaSonics for a better feel and quality. the big thing about all power supplies that peeves me is the cheap wire sets that come with them. I have been buying custom sets to fit on my ps's and am happy with the fit and finish.

This unit lives up to SeaSonic's legendary reputation for the worlds most solid and reliable power supplies. The modularity keeps the clutter down

No noice Can handle my i5 12 gen and rtx 2080 A lot of cables

- 80+ gold, fully modular, A tier on the PSU tier list, 850 watts and a 10 year warranty at this price point is amazing - Give enough cable length to actually manage cables like the 8 pin cpu power cable that often is too short on cheaper units - Making the 24 pin break out into 2 on the psu end is actually very nice, I expected this to be a gimmick but it actually made it a lot easier to thread this cable through if you plug it in on the motherboard end first - Very minimalist, simple branding, straight black cables. - Includes a 1x6+2 pin connector in the 850 watt model, this is very nice if you only need 1 8 pin for your GPU or if you're using 3 so then you don't have an extra dasey chained that's just adding bulk.

Super compact PSU (STX) FULLY modular BRAIDED CABLES... THATS RIGHT, BRAIDED CABLES.

Powers the power hungry 5700xt.

Lots of 8 pins.

This beefy little power supply was easy to install and fairly simple to figure out. Lots of cable options. I'm using this on my custom build MSi MAG X570 motherboard, Ryzen 9 3900XT, Radeon 5500...yeah I know, it was free so..., I'm running a Sabrent 1Tb Q4 NVMe PCIe 4.0, Seagate Berracuda 1Tb 2.5" SSD, along with 5 case fans and 2 Noctua CPU cooler fans. All in all, has done a very good job with supply and demand.

I got 2 of these 1200w PSU's as my EVGA 1000w+ PSU was finally kicking the bucket after 7 years and started giving me huge power spikes and caused blue screens and automatic power off crashes. With these new PSU's everythings so far so good. I have been using them now for about 2 weeks or so and they are powering everything as needed and I am not longer getting power lags or power spikes or crashes vs my older PSU. The big plus is that these have the new power plug requirement for the new Nvidia GPU's. If you are in need of a new PSU I highly recommend giving NZXT a shot specially at this price point before they sell out or the prices go up.

- Solid build quality. - Packaged well. - Long cables. - Outstanding 10 year warranty. - Fairly quiet (noticeable when under high load, but not very loud). - Plenty of power (works w/ RTX 5090 just fine).

- ATX 3.1 - Silent - Stable

Small size, 140mm fan, and the best thing is the universal 9 pin connectors make wiring simple. No matter what you wiring on the board side, pcie, cpu, gpu, sata, or molex... all of them have a 9 pin connector on the psu side, and can be plugged into any available port on the psu. Also has an eco switch if you want the fan to be able to go to 0 rpm.

It works and trusted brand
