Prior to buying this headset I was using the earbuds that came with my iPhone. People often complained about background noise any time I would get up and walk around the house. After switching to this headset I hear no more complaints from people. The voice isolation / noise cancellation works great. The battery run time is good enough to keep the headset powered and in use for hours. It came with four options for earpads. I chose the soft rubber pad that goes inside the ear. It is very comfortable, holding the headset stable on your ear without protruding quite as far into the ear canal as my normal earbuds would.
