Great product. Seamless switch to battery. Quality of APC for homeowners needing low watt demand. DO IT its worth it!!!! *** I have more UPCs in a commercial environment than I know what to do with.......this is in my personal residence, I know what a good UPC is.

The UPS is small and fits on top of my desk where i can see everything that is happening. Has lots of plugs for everything you need plus two usb ports.

Short story, it works! Purchased about a year ago. Couple of weeks ago, mains power bounced up and down 4 times in 60 seconds, then went out for good for a few hours. UPS seems to have about 20 minutes of power at a 250 watt draw, or thereabouts. When UPS battery got to 50%, I had it trigger shutdown of the CPU. That all triggered very nicely, got a clean shutdown, everything worked as expected. Yay! BTW -- this is with Linux, Debian Stable, using a USB cable between CPU and computer. On the UPS, I mostly left everything at factory defaults, so my app is simple, undemanding.

Just a great product. I was debating between this and the Tripplite. I am very happy I went with APC. The product is very well made and the cloud as well as local interface to the unit is excellent. I was worried before delivery about given its short chassis how it would handle in the rack using only the front rails and the came up with a really nice brace for under the unit that fits securely and easily handles the weight of the unit. It is also dead silent which for me is a must as it is within my office and quiet matters.

Stable, high performance rack mountable unit. Lives up to the specs. Easy to manage with provided software.

Easy setup, easy load on the server. The server interface was easy to setup and provides good information on the status of the UPS. No problems encountered

***An updated after several months of usage, and a change in score to 5 stars as I've learned more about the unit. Buried in the software which is run through your web browser, is a setting to turn down the sensitivity on the incoming voltage which fixes my major con of this unit for me, the unit toggling between ac and battery constantly. *** Very straight forward to setup, the units interface is fairly intuitive to use. Provided me with roughly 30min of power for 2 computers, I7 7700K with a 1080ti, and a I9 10590XE with a 3080, a boat load of SSD drives between them, lots of peripherals and 3 monitors. No blip in the computers performance when switching between battery and ac driven power. Online web interface for real time monitoring of the unit is a nice plus, can send you email reports when issues arise with the unit. Clear instructions to position the unit in it's final resting place before you connect the battery. This style battery shouldn't be moved around once it's connected.

This solved a dirty power issue for an industrial control panel I service frequently.

This UPS replaced an APC Smart UPS 750 RM 2U - also a rackmount unit. The SRT1000RMXLA adds a super-functional display, power-conditioning capabilities in addition to larger battery capacity/improved runtime.

This is an excellent product. I live in the lighting capital of the world, central Florida, and this product performs excellent throughout the Florida flicker and flash during storms.

- Does what it does and does it well

The cheapest USP with cable internet/TV support

I have used this for many years and it's still hooked to my pc now. Started with an Hp Pavilian that I added a 500W PSU to, nVidia GF9800Gtx GPU, 2 DVD+/- Dual layer/format drives, Creative SB Audigy, 2Gb Corsiar Ram, 7in1 Media card Reader, Floppy Drive and a 19" LCD Monitor. Not to mention a 5.1 A/V Surround Home theater system with all 6 speakers hooked up (if that makes a difference). I bought this cause the place I was living at the time the electric would go out constant. Paid back in the day like $160 for it. I Also had a small desktop light plugged into this thing as well. When power went out with all mentioned above hooked up, this thing would give me an easy 35 - 45 min power of all except the stereo I would turn off when power went out. Love this Batt. I still have this thing to the day hooked up and working quite well and its 4/2011 now and still going strong.

Many things in menu, runs silent most of the time
