using to back up 1 gaming rig, 1 HTPC, router and a couple of nearby devices. does what I bought it for. what I would expect from this brand.

I have the older APC SMC1500 and it has improvements. I like that this has more time when power is shut off. The APC SMT1500 C can handle heavier loads and the menu status screen is better even though it still has the same size screen.

Plenty of outlets, both batter-backup and surge-protected. No setup required, just plug it in. Battery replacement will be a snap when the time comes (battery cover comes off without having to undo screws). 650VA is plenty for a laptop & docking station, with a couple of monitors. The footprint isn't tiny, but small enough for my home-office setup.

The cheapest USP with cable internet/TV support

HID compliant USB port (necessary for MAC power management) Affordable on-line power delivery (zero lag time with power outages) Additional batteries can be added Smart card expandable for online monitoring of system conditions

Low Cost Good amount of battery / surge So far, very reliable

Does exactly what it is supposed too

1. It is very well built 2. Easy to setup 3. Perfect for my NAS, high end desktop PC (and graphics card), a couple of monitors, Modem, and router - 20 minutes of operation after loss of power. 4. Can be used to power and to safely shutdown a NAS drive and a network attached PC. 5. Customer service is easily reachable and very helpful

3 minute setup and your ready to go. Bought 2 and they both work flawlessly.

Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!
