The Aquacomputer Conversion Kit Socket AM4 / 3000 for Cuplex Kryos NEXT RGBpx (21798) is a CPU block conversion set for AMD socket AM5 and AM4. It adapts an existing cuplex kryos NEXT cooler for use on either mainboard socket, and it is only suitable for the RGBpx version of the block.

How the conversion works
To do this, the two stainless steel mounting plates of the cooler are exchanged for the ones from this set. The kit also contains suitable fastening material, in the form of four knurled screws, but no backplate.
Off-center mounting for Ryzen CPUs
When using this bracket variant, the heat sink is not positioned in the center of the CPU. The water block rather sits slightly off-centered, in accordance with the changed, asymmetrical internal structure of the AM5/AM4 9000/8000/7000/5000/3000 CPU series. Aquacomputer gives the reason as optimal heat dissipation, starting with the Ryzen 3000 generation.
What you need to convert it
Please note that you need a cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx you already own, as the set holds only the parts required for the swap. For a TR4 or sTRX4 board with the same block, use the socket TR4 / sTRX4 conversion kit (21799).
