Features

Features
Tri-Linear Ceramic Content:
Like the original Ceramique, Ceramique 2 uses only ceramic fillers so it is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive. The tri-linear composite of aluminum oxide, zinc oxide and boron nitride allows the thinnest possible bond line with modern processors, heatsinks and electronics. Critically-sized particles and new ultra-high shear mixing techniques maximize Ceramique 2's thermal performance and help maintain a stable homogenous suspension. This exclusive combination provides performance exceeding most metal based compounds.

Polysynthetic Suspension Fluid:
A new oil mixture, improved thermal filler properties and increased particle deagglomeration, dispersal and density enhance Ceramique 2's thermal performance and overall stability. The third generation polysynthetic suspension fluid combines advanced synthetic oils to maximize wetting and stability while allowing a higher density of thermally conductive fillers.

Excellent Stability:
Ceramique 2 is engineered to not separate, run, migrate, or bleed.

Electrical Insulator:
Ceramique 2 does not contain any metal or other electrically conductive materials. It is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive.

Performance:
2 to 10 degrees centigrade lower CPU full load core temperatures than standard thermal compounds or thermal pads when measured with a calibrated thermal diode imbedded in the CPU core.

Innovative Dispenser:
The amount of compound remaining in the 2.7-gram syringe is easy to determine as the rear of the plunger is perfectly flush with the flange when the syringe is empty.

Easy Clean Up:
Ceramique 2 can easily be cleaned from CPUs and heatsinks with ArctiClean, isopropyl alcohol or any of the cleaners listed in the product instructions.

Compliancy:RoHS Compliant.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works, Temps are fine.

Cons: Seemed very very thick, difficult to apply. think just a bit thinner than playdough. I'm used to mayonnaise.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent so far.

Pros: Much thicker than Silver 5. This may be a boon or a bane. The cooler I used is a Zalman, and none of the ones I've used by them have had mirrored contact surfaces, so the consistency came much in handy. Not sure if this is good for mirrored surfaces one way or the other.

Cons: None as of yet.

Other Thoughts: None.

5 out of 5 eggsIts paste, man

Pros: Look man, its paste. I don't know about this whole tri-linear ceramic thermal compound jazz, but this is some paste. Its some great paste, don't get me wrong. But this is paste my friends. It does a fine job of getting the job done.

Cons: You may think they forgot to ship it to you, but they didn't. It's wrapped up in some of the bubble wrap. Keep searching, its in that box somewhere. Somewhere in that box is your $7 tube of paste.

Other Thoughts: Ralph might eat this paste. I would not recommend eating this paste.

Pros: Good thick paste, but not took thick. Just the right balance.

Easy to apply as well as cleanup afterwards.

Noticeable drops in CPU temps once cured.

3 out of 5 eggsToo viscous

Pros: I'm sure it works okay for some people.

Cons: I used this on my stock intel HSF and the cpu in my system at stock settings was close to 90c! (4670k). Just ridiculous. I've not installed a ton of cpu's but I have installed all of them on every pc ive built in the last 15 years and never had a problem. And this suff isn't great for me. I think it spread just fine. When I removed the HSF to install my water cooler the paste was even and minimal with a little pushed off the cpu.

My h100i brought down my temps to 65 full load for ten minutes. Not totally knocking this paste but people have better temps with intel stock paste that comes on the HSF.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy it again. Go for arctic silver 5 unless you have to have something that's not conductive. You can spend the extra 5 bucks.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Compound

Pros: On a clean surface of your cpu cooling system this compound adheres to it smoothly without bubbles or lumps.

Cons: you get a very small amount

Other Thoughts: Be sure to use a hard, yet flexible, card that will spread it evenly, do not layer it too think because you don't need a lot, a little bit goes a long way but be sure that the surface is totally covered and you cant see any metal showing. I Used this on my Corsair H100 unit and it works so much better than the clear stuff it comes with, lowered the overall cpu temp by 9 degrees F. as apposed to just the compound the H100 came with.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat non conductive paste

Pros: Being non conductive this is one of the safest and best performing thermal compounds. I used it on more than 5 different desktops and even as paste for a laptop video card. It has kept all components cool.

Cons: These are always very small in quantity

Other Thoughts: I wish I bought a lot as local stores don't have good thermal paste.
