5 out of 5 eggsWhat everyone should use

Pros: Have always used Arctic Silver compounds, and this one works great on my A10-7870K processor. Keeps it nice and cool.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is my go to for thermal compound, and should be for everyone. Does exactly what you need it to do.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, but a little stiff

Pros: Bought this to put on a replacement heatsink for a friends build that had the stock still. Did a good job of dropping the temperatures and was easily applied.

Cons: The paste itself is a little stiff. It doesn't have a very good spreading feel to it. Maybe that's just the nature of ceramic but I ended up having to use about a "pea and a half" worth of paste to get the full sink covered, as opposed to the "pea" method.

Other Thoughts: Plenty of paste in it, can easily be used multiple times.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect thermal paste

Pros: Been using it for years. I haven't used some of the newer fancier pastes, though. I haven't found the need to. When something works, you use it. Best paste for your dollar.

Cons: I can't find anything nasty to say about it.

Other Thoughts: When something isn't broke, you don't need to fix it.

4 out of 5 eggsStringy?

Pros: Works as intended for cooling purposes.

Cons: Not sure if anyone else had this issue but, I had a problem with the paste stringing out after I tried top pull the syringe back. I ended up having to get scissors to actually cut the paste once I had the proper amount on the CPU. Maybe it's just me.

5 out of 5 eggsGets the Job Done

Pros: Easy to use, didn't have any issues with it sticking to the cap or anything, and had enough to help a friend with his heatsink.

Cons: Very limited amount, but that's the general run of these things.

Other Thoughts: Worked well, easy to use, and got the job done.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks better than regular heat sink goo...

Pros: Works well, but

Cons: a bit pricey.

Other Thoughts: Last time I bought heat sink compound was for my electronics repair shop it was $10 for a 8 ounce can. Not as good as this stuff. But a bit more affordable.
